It may be. sree writes like he is above everybody here, knows more, is more. But he has had moments of vulnerability also. I'm not sure he is looking for anything, he seems to think he has something to teach (us, all of us). I have seen zero evidence of that. He wrote me last night, I read once. I was too tired to try to decipher. I haven't gotten around to it today, yet. But he writes very nastily about EVERYBODY. For me that's not a good sign. Judgmental + nasty, not a good sign. You see what you sre (accidental error, decided to leave, are). Ok, we can chalk this down as a "nay" vote against me. My vote doesn't count, and you are construing something I haven't said. You will not get a vote, you will just get a vacation, if you break the rule. |

And did your family break apart when she died? Oh yes. Within months, Grandfather suffered a brain aneurysm while having breakfast at his favorite Greek restaurant and died the same day. Mom's siblings all drifted away from her and from each other. And now, I am alone by myself to seek the pathless land. But you know where it is, so why are you still seeking it? Surely it's only the seeking that takes you from it? |

you shouldn't even have to ask for guidance here, you should just be able to pay attention to what is going on sure, 'no politics' is perhaps a poorly defined grey area, but to me it sounds like.. just talk about your spiritual journey without relying on a lot of extraneous stuff that isn't necessary to make your points, like about specific countries and their governmental decision making. Wrong club for that. I don't agree with your opinion and can put up a good argument in defense. Even if my fate lies in your hand and other members here, and you all vote in favor of my exit, I accept it as a just way to deal with me. The community rules openly and democratically. definitely not. and reefs is your go to on these matters |

You imply that I have not stayed within the rule. Can you cite an instance of my violation. Which post was it?
Who makes the call that a rule has been violated? Do the members here make the call collectively and have a right to pass judgment on the conduct of their peer, namely me, being indicted? . In the time that I've been here (over a decade), different moderators have come and gone...there's no perfect system. I've been to war with moderators (nod to laffy  ). Honestly mate, it's not worth it. (there's no collective call or community judgement). On the contrary, in my opinion, Reefs has been pretty even-handed and restrained and far better than any moderator I had come across except me. I am not dismissing your opinion.
Going to war? What's the payback? Nobody likes me here. If I win, I would just get to sleep with an ugly harem that hates me.

Reefs might be willing to pick out a specific post that crossed the line, but I would guess it's more a general theme he's talking about I used to go to war to try and make the forum change to the way I preferred it, it's a bit of a blur now, but at one point we had 2 separate sections, an unmoderated section and a moderated one. I was banned from the moderated section for a while. We've been through a lot here over 10 years, though there have been longish periods when I have been absent. Over time, it's become more just a nice thing to be part of, particularly as some of the social media platforms can be so brutal. (you are probably mistaken about people not 'liking' you, folks here are more complex than that). |

We just haven't figured out what you're up to. Nobody knows where you are posting from. 80% of the time you are telling us how smart you are and seem to be trying to teach (something). 20% of the time you seem to want help. (or that could be 90-10). You are a lot like UG Krishnamurti. It's kind of like, let's pull the pin on the hand grenade and see what happens. |

I think it may be possible that folks here aren't clear why you are here. If there's something you are interested in learning, then folks would support that. If there's something you are interested in offering, then folks want to know what that is, and in a very clear way. Maybe you are interested in both aspects...learning and offering. Or maybe you are here just as pure entertainment, to pass time among people that won't think you are crazy. Folks would be very happy to do that with you too, but then if they don't understand you, or they feel messed around by you, they will get bored, just as would happen in a pub. I ask myself why I'm writing this. Well, I think I know people here well enough to know that they don't 'dislike' you. It's more a case of just not understanding what you want. In some ways, we are simple people, we don't like games. There's enough games in the world. |

No politics, that's pretty simple. Reefs moved the Farmtime/Hello Goodbye thread to private. Private means you can say whatever the F you want to. Check your messages, you are on the list (everyone who posted there is on that thread). Reefs is the main Moderator, he's the Sheriff. Peter is also a Moderator. zendancer is also a Moderator, emeritus mostly. Before Reefs, this place had become a pigsty. Reefs is a most excellent Moderator. Reefs too has a boss. Have you mentioned politics? That's a violation. I don't think it is that simple unless you act with impunity and kick people you don't like out the door. You and others have asked me why I am here. I have been pushing the envelop to find out how far I can provoke inquiry. I have been careful with my jabs. By now, I have a pretty good idea of what I can and cannot do here with you and others in spiritual discussion. What I don't have a clue about is the objective of the owner(s) of this forum. If my presence does not align with forum goal, then Reefs needs to spell it out and I can leave. This is the principled and spiritual way to handle this. Jesus was crucified. Unfortunately, for him it was that simple as, you put it.

My computer skills failed me (again), I couldn't pull up the post-only, just the page. sree, you are not in any trouble whatsoever. Reefs is saying, from here onward (at the end of the 24 hours he gave you). After this post I found the original guidelines from 2009. And I found Reefs new rules from 2017. And I found specifically the no politics rule. All linked. I don't know what you are freaking out about. |
