is that a riddle? or an insult? or racist? or a trope? I thought of telling this story yesterday, passed on it. Probably should pass again. However. My former was a musician, she played organ and piano, and taught piano lessons, taught in public school some, private school some. We were eating in a Wendy's near Christmas. Across form us was a male African American and a white lady, handsome couple. Suddenly we both looked at each other, we knew what each other was thinking. We both laughed. We 'imagined' what the guy was thinking: "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas". I hope that does not offend anyone.  Beautiful. I think we're more of a "Merry Christmas" than a "Happy Holidays" crowd. That's just too impersonal, and potentially rife with culturally significance.  |

Are you making an excuse for being a loser? I can't find a loser in nature. Everything is perfect. It's people. Even when they are young and fit, they are crazy. There was a bunch of thirty something next door beating on drums and chanting. Yoga losers in Indian clothing having a garden party. It was unseemly. Woodstock nonsense, and so soon after their mother's death.
Why would a white American male dress up like a Sikh? Man bun atop his head, wearing a kurta. I know it is Sunday and he probably works from home. Is it spirituality or escapism?
Loser? Me? ha! ha! Yes.  Though I make no excuses for it. First, look at the thread title. Have you done that? Really, do it now before you keep reading, ok? Human life comes in an unimaginably myriad detailed forms. There are fat people, thin people, fit people, sick people, rich people, poor people. Some are happy and satisfied with very little others are voracious black holes of appetite. But no matter how much one as accomplished, achieved, perfected, accumulated or been accoladed, they all come to the same end. It's all on loan, all temporary, all ephemeral. I'm not saying that none of it matters, because in the moment, it all matters. Just not in a way that can be understood by the mind of an existential child. Die before you die, and see the world as an existential adult. Put down the baggage of your psuedo-concern for the "world". It's the result of an illusion. He has admitted elsewhere he doesn't have concern for the world. sree is not in any sense consistent. I still do not know why he is here. |

The monkey mind needs to die. I am shooting monkeys here, shooting to kill you all off. Krishnamurti shot monkeys for 60 years till he kicked the bucket. He didn't even bag one.
Your mindset of the world is one that runs on the belief that the human body is the person; and yet, you factor in the possibility that the person can die before the body dies. Can you sort this out? Also, what do you mean by "die before you die"? PLease bear in mind that you are using the English language and words have specific meanings.
You need to go find greener pastures, you're behind the curve here. For you, keep it in your back pocket. |

Check your messages, you are on the list (everyone who posted there is on that thread). Reefs is the main Moderator, he's the Sheriff. Peter is also a Moderator. zendancer is also a Moderator, emeritus mostly. Before Reefs, this place had become a pigsty. Reefs is a most excellent Moderator. Reefs too has a boss. Have you mentioned politics? That's a violation. |

It may be. sree writes like he is above everybody here, knows more, is more. But he has had moments of vulnerability also. I'm not sure he is looking for anything, he seems to think he has something to teach (us, all of us). I have seen zero evidence of that. He wrote me last night, I read once. I was too tired to try to decipher. I haven't gotten around to it today, yet. But he writes very nastily about EVERYBODY. For me that's not a good sign. Judgmental + nasty, not a good sign. You see what you sre (accidental error, decided to leave, are). |

Wrong club for that. |

If my presence does not align with forum goal, then Reefs needs to spell it out and I can leave. This is the principled and spiritual way to handle this.
Jesus was crucified. Unfortunately, for him it was that simple as, you put it.

No politics, it's that simple, for a start. You've been pretty nasty to people, your language. I'd have sat you out for at least a day, for that alone, of course a warning first. You've had your warning. No politics. Reefs let things go a bit, for the Farmtime/Hello Goodbye thread. That's private now. I don't know where the guidelines are listed, I've never needed them. This forum is not a democracy. What don't you understand about no politics? |

Reefs' moderating is imperfect and subjective. In the time that I've been here (over a decade), different moderators have come and gone...there's no perfect system. I've been to war with moderators (nod to laffy ). Honestly mate, it's not worth it. (there's no collective call or community judgement). |

The Forum is not a democracy. The figgles vote was a special case. sree will not get a vote. I have never been to Gab except once, to register. I don't even know how to find it now, the actual name. You would probably be very welcome there. There's nothing to agree with, no politics. |
