Hey Vacant, Sure, I would be happy to clarify. I mean that pointers and descriptions, when authentic, are based on current, everpresent experience. Teachers end up finding ways to express the inexpressible, and so they tend to use similar phrases, because that seems, to them, to provide the most accurate flavor. But, in order to separate that from those with mental constructs not based on current, everpresent, direct experience, it can be very helpful to "poke" a teacher's experience by asking detailed questions about what they are saying, and what they mean by their expressions. If they are poked, then they are forced to refer to their experience to really describe it directly, and that can be useful, as speaking directly from experience shows that the knowledge/experience is going on now. And it also provides further clarification on what they are saying. And that's a good thing. If you look at the most famous legitimate teachers, you can see them often feeling into their own experience to explain more deeply.... Does that make sense? LM, I know this is a month old post but Louise & ZD have revived this thread. Can you please explain what you mean or refer to by “real time”, I cannot understand it at all.
