My five top teachers, in order of impact on my life: Krishna Mother Meera Sai Baba David Lyons Jesus
In some ways, they are all the same teacher I suppose, with the same message. I read on here somewhere that someone thought mother meera taught duality, I know this is not the case, for her everything is one. I feel very fortunate that the major influences in my life are almost all avatars. human spiritual teachers that I have enjoyed are: Ramakrishna shivapuri baba dan millman geoff thompson yogananda oh and obviously: buddha

1. UG Krishnamurti 2. Ayahuasca 3. Osho, Bagwan Sri Rajneesh 4. Ramana 5. Adi Da Samraj
More: Ashtavakra, Gangaji, Bart Marshall, Tyohar in Costa Rica, Mooji, Papaji, Eckhart Tolle, Stephen Jenkinson (Griefwalker).
Cautions: Ozen Rajneesh (Surrounded by zealots, but possibly a realized sanyasin of Osho. I was surprised that in the meeting I sat in with him he seemed to focus on all of the money and immigration problems he was facing. He is making everything as low cost or "free" as possible for his disciples. However, in exchange for the "free" price you will need to be a good butt kisser and tattle tale.)
Il Chi Lee (He is a Korean Sun Do / Dahn Yoga / Body & Brain / Qi Gong teacher. Whether he is realized or not he created a workshop that resulted in a break-through for me. The breakthrough lasted 2 days. Having been involved in his various organizations I find myself both grateful and cautious. Grateful for the lessons, and cautious of the hypocrisy and distrust that seems woven into the fabric of the myriad of organizations he created. There is also a robotic, cult-like, starry eyed feeling to the followers. What's more is the "Lost in Translation" feeling that some of his talks possess. I also noticed that some of his more wild Korean teachings are dropped when translated to English.)

I don't think anyone really needs five. But if you're going to read five.
Eckhart for the soft intro. Then Jed McKenna's first 3 books to ramp things up. Then Nagarjunna 1 time. Then start to think for yourself a bit while revisiting Nagarjunna. Then Jed's 2 latest books.
