my friends, to those who see, no explanition is necessary, to those who refuse to open their eyes no truth will EVER be sufficient. it is true that we must accept all aspects of reality but we are not required to engage. our energy feeds these types of posts and i see no reason to feed this. make your skin slick to remove all hand holds and move on.

Thank you cabin. That is sound advice. Let's allow the trolls to starve to death from lack of attention. That could be nice. hmmm im not the same person as this poster just becuase i hate drugs also no need to conclude i am the same person If i have anything to post i would post it on this account. Or with the exception if im posting on my parents computer i already admitted 'drifter' was me. I google searched the first post it isn't his / her own words it has been used on many websites mainly this one here. Obviously it is the words of a Christian. www.religiousforums.com/forum/I wouldn't say the orginal poster doesn't believe in what he / she says, it is clear he / she supports everything he / she has typed but a troll is a person who posts things to get a reaction. That is exactly what he / she has done. So they are a troll. And if a troll pops up on a forum. Best to avoid it yet you people play right into he / shes hands. I advise people not to keep posting on this thread before it gets turned into an arguement zone. |

Hey no problem Guest. There are the occasional troll threads popping up lately, but unless guest posting is turned off (and you'll have to talk to Shawn about that) then I don't think there's a lot that can be done. Ultimately, it's not getting involved if you feel a person is a troll. If a person is being difficult, then they are probably a troll and not worth your time. Sincerity is not as hard to find as all that. That aside, there are plenty of situations to get into more interesting and thoughtful discussions. This forum is primarily focused on Enlightenment, waking up, etc., so there can be discussions on new age topics sometimes, but that is not really the purpose. If you are interested seriously in opening up then this can be a great forum to do so, and you are welcome to join. It just means being a little more choosy over which threads you get involved with as far as I can see. I delete things that are obvious spam, but getting nitpicky with regulating behavior doesn't really work in the long run. Anyway, if you have anymore questions, ideas, etc. please let me know, as I am always open to hearing them. I would join this forum, but i believe the moderator should do a better job at moderating the forum, is it really that hard to delete threads? Or not delete but just moderate them.. I can't figure out who any of these people posting are. Are they different people or are they all the same person. Or is this all another little joke like the 'forum moderation thread' and it is the Mod doing it himself?. Who is JimmyTrantic? For such enlightened people you sure do like your humour. Gotta admit i really like that.  This is all too confusing for me though. So i will not be joining your forum. Good luck with your fun and games. |

Karen is correct. It reminds me of a time when my sophomore humanities teacher told our class, "You can't have good without its polar opposite--evil. The two concepts are interdependent and they arise simultaneously." I had no idea what the guy was talking about. I remember thinking, "Why can't I have good without evil? That doesn't make any sense." LOL. A paradox or question can only be resolved on a deeper level than where the paradox or question appears.

Im glad to see things have toned down on this thread but considering people have been asking you questions karen i might aswell ask you this.
Why do you take drugs? And if you do what drugs are you taking?
In my college i was talking to a guy hes the same age as me 19 and we got talking about mysticism he said he does drugs to get mystical experiences.. and i told him though about mystical experiences without drugs and he admitted he believes it is possible.. so what is the point in drugs.. drugs just give delusions not real direct mystical experiences
Im the complete opposite of people who take drugs i know we can have mystical experiences without drugs.
Im sure zendancer knows alot on this. I have been reading some Christian mysticism lately it is really good stuff.
Evelyn Underhill wrote a good book which talks about mystical experiences. You may wish to check it out.

I don't know what IBS is.
But i can tell you this. Mind can cure anything. You only need to go over and study Christian Science to realise that.
Drugs are damaging. And yes alchohol is a drug.
Buddha cured without drugs, Jesus cured without drugs, the yogis in india cured without drugs, metaphysicians cure without drugs.
I can understand some people wanting legal drugs becuase they wish to take them.. it is personal choice. But illegal drugs is just self abuse.
