As far as I can read Good person, you are the only one on this thread who believes in evil. By your own reasoning you could stop that right now and it would stop having existence. I believe in evil do i? When i just explained it is unreal. Troll alert. Reverse psychologly doesn't work my friend. Try posting something positive! Im guessing you got offended by the capital punishment comment i did. I guess you have probably done some immoral things in your life and got abit scared by my section on God knowing all. As i said God knows all, no secrets my friend!! What have you to hide? We can not hide anything!!

Karen im not judging. But really you sound like a drug addict. Just type something normal which people can understand. I know nothing is real to you but please remember many people do enjoy life and morality is something which is a universal law and principle God put it in man. You only need to study the conscience to understand this. People were made moral. It is only out of faulty thinking (error) that people turn to the 'immoral'. Cabin, I am an addict. It's the most pernicious drug of all - belief in my thoughts and feelings. I can understand how you think I'm talking gobbledygook. There was a time, I would have found my words like that. BTW, morality is universal - as far as it goes. I know of its foundations. I know of this by watching (studying) my own consciousness, not by book learning. How do you know all about morality?

Guest, thank you for your kind intention, but I had read it and that is why I posted as I did.
Goodperson –or Cabin if I go by eagle-eye Karen’s ability to see behind masks– I WAS making a positive comment, albeit I grant with a touch of sarcasm. Please let me rephrase and hope we can feed and love each other without shouting, although that’s cool too.
Understood that if “people” didn’t see it beneficial to themselves to do or think “bad” things then all could be hunky-dory. But it appears they do or think those things but who’s to say the so-called bad things are OUTSIDE God’s Creation, like fighting God’s plan?… The God you are praising so, is he/she threatened here? Or truly omnipotent? In my ignorant book if he is threatened then he’s not peaceful enough for my liking; and if he is omnipotent then we are to trust that evil is also part of his/her juggling of things, as only him/her does and understand wonderfully.
I am not terribly keen on that sort of religious language but go there in the hope to communicate better with you.
So what I meant was that there might be good mileage in leaving aside the concept of evil/wrong-doing/anything-being-outside-God’s-will and by so doing discovering that evil is but an illusion in God’s play. It can be scary to abandon the fight, or your and my role in putting things right, but don’t you think things are pretty well looked after.
Darned words, But: Love & Peace.

"Nothing exists apart from God and God's ideas (creation)."
So, you believe yourself to be no more than an idea? How can that be?

hmmm im not the same person as this poster just becuase i hate drugs also no need to conclude i am the same person If i have anything to post i would post it on this account. Or with the exception if im posting on my parents computer i already admitted 'drifter' was me. I google searched the first post it isn't his / her own words it has been used on many websites mainly this one here. Obviously it is the words of a Christian. www.religiousforums.com/forum/I wouldn't say the orginal poster doesn't believe in what he / she says, it is clear he / she supports everything he / she has typed but a troll is a person who posts things to get a reaction. That is exactly what he / she has done. So they are a troll. And if a troll pops up on a forum. Best to avoid it yet you people play right into he / shes hands. I advise people not to keep posting on this thread before it gets turned into an arguement zone.

And by the way it only takes lightmystic the moderator to look at the IP addresss to discover if the guests are really different people or not.

Even trolls deserve answers. But some of them are really childish - they should be looking for a different forum.

I would join this forum, but i believe the moderator should do a better job at moderating the forum, is it really that hard to delete threads? Or not delete but just moderate them.. I can't figure out who any of these people posting are. Are they different people or are they all the same person. Or is this all another little joke like the 'forum moderation thread' and it is the Mod doing it himself?. Who is JimmyTrantic? For such enlightened people you sure do like your humour. Gotta admit i really like that. This is all too confusing for me though. So i will not be joining your forum. Good luck with your fun and games.

Cabin: I did not confuse you with Goodperson. You appear to be a sincere truth-seeker who is willing to look below the surface.
This thread, however, is a good illustration of the cigarette-man koan. When someone expresses a strong attachment to a set of ideas, certain questions may be necessary in order to understand the state of mind behind the ideas. If the answers show the kind of attachment demonstrated by the cigarette-man, then further dialogue becomes useless. Remember, no matter what you say, the cigarette-man will hit you. He will not listen to anything you say to him. His mind is totally closed.
