It is interesting, and I dare say illuminating to interpret the reality you perceive from the perspective that it reflects your expectations, it is filtered through your beliefs, and it is one of the endless number of realities that exist. There is the abstract meta-reality of expectations and beliefs. This is superficial. Now, a relatively quiet body/mind, in temporary suspension of this activity, is an opportunity. It's an opportunity to see the superficial meta-reality for what it is and what it isn't. It's also an opportunity the get present to a deeper sense of reality based on our conditioned responses to our perceptions that are extant, even absent the superficial meta-reality. There can be a curiosity about what seems a divide. What is this, that we perceive? What is this process? Do I begin and end at the skin of my body? If not, then where and when? It's tempting to start conceiving of "mind" or "spirit" as an expansion of yourself as an individual, but that is just a different version of the meta-reality of belief and expectation. Ultimately, "your body", and "your mind", are not two different things. Neither is the "you", that is defined by everything this "you" isn't. But this is a radical conception that has the potential to lead to all manner of objection and mental confusion ending in paradox. This concept of unity, this radical conception, is a pointer. Thoughts about the pointer are what lead to the confusion. Not all thought is confusing, but thinking about the existential question leads to one of either two outcomes: (1) a clarity of mental and emotional quiescence, reached directly, and the end of the pondering, or (2) endless cycles of confusing mentation. Avoid the maze. Find the wild field.

That is your subjective perceptional belief isn't it? There isn't anything actual is there, according to your belief in that there is only subjectivity? You may believe that there is an objective physical reality, but you don't know. Precisely, this basic truth is straightforward to grasp. However, I find it puzzling why many people struggle with it. Everything we perceive, feel, and think is internal, regardless of whether an external world exists or not.

Many have incarnated into this particular reality especially for the challenge posed by the conventional wisdom being so wrong.

You know what I meant: "incarnated", meaning primarily focused in the physical reality framework. Surely, we differ in many of our views.

Surely, we differ in many of our views. Okay, but physical reality doesn't independently exist to be focused. Physical reality is also being created in your focus of attention like your nightly dream. If you mean this, then that's okay.

Then, Gopal and inavalan, tell me, when Gopal and inavalan come to a red light, and are at 90 angles, how do you avoid an accident? If there is no exterior world, how do you come to agreement?, red light means stop, green light means go. Occam's razor tells us an exterior world is the simplest solution. Otherwise, you have to start creating "epicycles" to make things come out right.

You keep interpreting it as the same kind of unsatisfactory answer because this is what you expect, according to your beliefs. For you, it doesn't matter what I reply, but only what you read into it. For me, it matters only what I interpret this repeating exchange to mean: it is a warning, which I keep repeating to myself, not to make the mistake to believe that what I perceive is necessarily as it seems.

This interplay between beliefs and expectations is of the chicken and the egg type. To make an evolutionary psychic-step ahead, you need to break a limiting loop. One way, maybe the easier one, is to intentionally generate a positive expectation. The other way is to go inwards, identify a limiting belief, and replace it with a constructive and enabling one.

The other way is to go inwards, identify a limiting belief, and replace it with a constructive and enabling one.Absolutely, breaking a limiting loop and making an evolutionary psychic step can be a transformative process. Generating positive expectations can indeed shift your mindset and open up new possibilities. By consciously choosing to focus on positive outcomes, you can rewire your thought patterns and create a more optimistic outlook on life. Additionally, going inwards to identify and address limiting beliefs is a powerful way to initiate personal growth and change. By exploring your inner beliefs and thought processes, you can uncover subconscious patterns that may be holding you back. Once you recognize these limiting beliefs, you can work on replacing them with more constructive and empowering ones that align with your goals and aspirations. Both approaches—creating positive expectations and transforming limiting beliefs—can help you break free from old patterns, expand your perspective, and move towards a more fulfilling and authentic way of living. It's a journey of self-discovery and intentional growth that can lead to profound personal evolution and a deeper connection with your true self.

That's AI commenting on your statement I quoted. Melvin is using AI to understand what you guys are saying here in this forum. My use of the English language is limited. I am a Filipino, from the Philippines. So, please understand if I am not good at writing in English to explain to you fully well what's on my mind regarding an issue. We have different dialects in the Philippines. There's Visaya, Tagalog, Ilonggo, Waray, Tausog, and a lot more. In school, we are taught as our medium of instruction in English and Filipino. In my place, we speak Visaya.

We have different dialects in the Philippines. There's Visaya, Tagalog, Ilonggo, Waray, Tausog, and a lot more. In school, we are taught as our medium of instruction in English and Filipino. In my place, we speak Visaya. I see. If I were you, I would prefer using google translate instead of AI. AI is a search engine, it interprets what it is asked, and replies based on the conventional wisdom. What we talk here isn't conventional wisdom, so it is likely that AI will distort what the original text intended to convey. I believe that even listening to a venerated guru, that speaks your native language, is useful only in the very early stages of learning, when you acquire the basics. Later, I believe that all gurus should be discarded, in the favor of consulting only your inner source of knowledge and guidance, being always aware the you'll inherently distort what you receive, due to your beliefs and to your current level of evolvement. Whatever I or another posts can be used only as basis to query your inner guru, and not used as a source of knowledge, not to understand it and adopt it as it is conveyed.
