There is much talk about Jnani principles and states when there are no other beings present in his life. Practice is difficult alone, 20 times more difficult in the midst of people. I don't really know what you mean by accidental. |

Well, he doesn't speak in terms of practice. He speaks of protection. Not having anyone else to care or think about gives him a feeling of protection and and yet, there is also anxiety. So the protection has a hole in it. It's the anxiety that he's trying to find a cure for. |

But the anxiety comes from the ego, most people here just say self. So he is obviously not free from (the small s) self, everybody who exchanged with him saw this. Being defensive and attacking others is not a good sign. It's not so easy to be free from self, the conditioning. |

There's no other way. Yes. I don't think he is going to get anywhere going it alone. He won't even listen to Krishnamurti, in full. Why is that? He has to somehow step outside the self. self is the fox guarding the henhouse. self cannot act outside its own interests. So always the catch-22. Always laughter's double bind. self will always protect itself against a real teaching. Thus, sree picks and chooses. |
