Steve, you're obviously technically capable of posting a link to a post, so please do so rather than flooding the board like this, and this, and this. Especially when you're bickering with Reefs. You can make your point without forcing a bunch of people (who have no interest in being dragged further down into the mires of samsara) to re-read what was already a quagmire of a conversation the first time round. That there is an official spam warning. I've just spent an hour cleaning up Kitchens from Lancashire and banned Q's account (again) for the same thing, so I'm particularly sensitive to it today. No worries Peter.... i have no intention of sticking around and being trolled instead of conversed with. Especially if I'm going to be censured for graphically illustrating a small portion of the trolling and, I'll play at the bickering games. beat of luck to you in your quest for self improvement my friend.

Solid stuff dude... I seem to pick up that Steve is still seeking something from his posts. He most def doesn't appear content with what is.... Although because I don't know him, this may just be a function of his mind body similar to going to work to make money. I want more money to go on bigger and better trips around the world....doesn't mean attachment is there to if that comes to fruition. So I guess we have to take his word that he isn't seeking still? The issue isn't the experience he describes. The need to convince everyone that he really has had that experience and that he therefore is way ahead of everyone else here is a little odd. Well hasn't that been the one constant with him and Tzu through our their time on here? The "I see something you don't" idea. I get that feeling from both of their writings. But maybe they write in a similar style and its OUR minds that project upon their writings such ideas........ Yeah......or not....

It seems to me that of the people here in the Spiritualteachers.org discussion board some folk have no-idea at all and want it to stay that way, constantly, and others have some idea and still others like to share what they've found to be true through having had life-experiences and others have taken to eradicating those they dislike by victimising them.
Perhaps a thread on Fundamentalism would be worth-while? How about one on Sunday-School as well?
Are there any Teachers in Spiritualteachers.org or are we all learners like me self (or no-self if that grabs your belly-button?)

Well, good morning! Reefs has an abrasive way of speaking, but he wasn't trolling. Trolling adds no content to the thread and actually tries to divert it. He was on topic and was right about something - you keep getting the message mixed up with the messenger. Even this message from Peter. How hard would it have been to say, "Ok Peter, I'll post links instead of whole text." But you took it personally. So personally that you felt the need to add some nasty little sarcasm at the end. This does not leave a good impression of 'Samadhi as a spiritual practice'. There's some kind of war going on in you, cause it spews out here periodically. <--- now that's armchair psychology

I was hoping you might sit this hatred-out steve. Surely you have made one friend here that enjoys your giving? Before you take-off, take notice of who appreciate you here. This is just star wars stuff. Good shooting the baddies... MUCH Like, Christians fighting the Moslems

Just ignore the trolling (as you see it). There are plenty of possible good conversations that happen. You are not unwelcome here. But if you play the bickering game, nibbling on the trolling hooks, play it. Play. We all are responsible for our own eye movements and Create Post clicks. Question: where does observe the observer fit in with the samadhi thing these days? Is oto a direct means to samadhi, or was that a stage of sorts?

I definitely relate to the 'no-idea at all' crowd but I'm not sure I want it to stay that way. Sussing out the difference between being in that crowd and continually returning to freshness, as in zen mind beginner mind, can be fruitful. Is cluelessness just another identity, a crutch or familiar place, a comforting perspective? Or is it honesty?

Is cluelessness just another identity, a crutch or familiar place, a comforting perspective? Or is it honesty? Honesty is a Gem. more on cluelessness in a moment. i think 'returning' is all important, having once known. If one doesn't know, then what is it we are returning to? But that's only for those that have awoken...those that are sleep-walking keep on walking as though in a dream. Saw my wife sleep-walking one evening; that was hilarious as she shuffled through the living room, past me un-awarely and turned left an tried to walk-through a door opening i had blocked-up 2years earlier when we were renovating...it was as though she were re-living Her memory of the house in her dream and when confronted with the wall, began to scratch at it with her fingernails....looking for a way through into her Kitchen. Of course i didn't awaken her, just lead her back to bed and in the morning we had a chuckle. Its important not to try an awaken people who are sleep-fully living unless you have fighting-skills in place. I have fighting skills in place, but I never use them (unless attacked by a psychotic person) ie, i don't go round trying to awaken people. Some will hate you, others will fist your face into pulp.People are best left to awaken in their own-time. Now, cluelessness. Best to STFU an listen and best achieved in nature.mmm, is this sunday school?

Male nurse Enigma, "Sure enough, when you did give an answer, it doesn't seem to settle the issue." In your mind, do you need settling? or are you speculating(assuming) that steve has the Power to pacify the other folks mental-insecurities by speaking his truth? I meant what I said, not all this stuff you're imagining.

First of all, it wasn't me who asked the question about deleting accounts, so it couldn't be my mind that needs settling on the issue. Secondly, Quinn just didn't see where the answer actually addressed the question, (which she didn't ask) so she mentioned it. Why does that mean her mind needs settling and mental insecurities. Don't you see how unfair it is to even agree to all that nonsense speculation?

Sigh... I really wish I could give you a hug right now Reefs. But in the absence of physical presence, just please know, that everything is going to be alright, you do not need to be overcome by fear, anger, and suspicion.... Whatever demons you are seeing are only your imagination....everything is going to be alright son. ESA. Even Tzu doesn't get quite that condescending. Well, maybe on a good day.

My understanding is that you deleted it 4 times in one day, which is not "time to time". It is, in fact, curious behavior, and you can't blame anybody for being curious. I would speculate that nobody asked you directly for an explanation because nobody believed you would give an honest answer. Sure enough, when you did give an answer, it doesn't seem to settle the issue. " sometimes it just felt like the right and harmonious thing to do in that moment", on 4 occasions in one day, doesn't smell right either. It seems like the opposite of harmonious. This would be a reasonable answer: "When its a harmonious place for conversation, even if this means lively debate without pettiness, I will have a sit. When the pettiness becomes ridicules, I leave..."if not for the account deletion. You claim Quinn just added in the idea that you may have been just taking a break, but your explanation implies sometimes it is contentious in a particular conversation, and sometimes it's "harmonious", so it does seem like you wish to extricate yourself from particular conversations and not others. I think it's unfair to put it on Quinn, and condescending to advise 'take a breath and read what is written'. My advice would be for YOU to take a breath and read what YOU wrote. He is following an ideal, a concept. Which creates mental tension. That tension causes the hyper-minding. He obviously isn't sure of himself and very aware of his shortcomings. Which could explain the account creation/deletion tic. He seems to be struggling with two opposing forces. He is vacillating between 2 extreme mental positions. position #1:I think your full of shít position #2:I really wish I could give you a hug right now Since position #1 is the most practiced and therefore predominant one, position #2 must sound fake and will probably come across as ESA. However, Steve is not the only one who is trying to embody a very high ideal and regularly falls back into name calling and ESA. He doesn't think he has an ego to surrender, so while he's Samadhi'ing up a storm, ego is running and jumping and playing in the background and he doesn't know it.
