I asked a simple question about God's will... If you accept God's will like you say you have then the answer to the question would have been Yes, sitting on a meditation pillow until the mind/body dies would be God's will... You think God is busy micro-managing the actions of an entire universe and still has time to manage the actions of 7 billion peeps?! I sure wouldn't want his job... I find it terribly sad in 2013, that people still struggle under the much-too-heavy burden of their imagination; as deeply infiltrated and infected with this farcical religious disease of 'god' as being something like a (single) physical man. Surely we should have realised by now that such illogical notions would best have been entombed inside the burial chambers with the ancient Egyptian pharaohs, and left to decompose in peace. most likely, trf was engaged in satire ... (with Steve and E' it's a bit more complicated ...)

Marie and have figured out that he's big and purple, and he can't see you when it's cloudy. LoL maybe thats why southern states seem to be more religious than northern states? Maybe the borderline of the Bible belt is just the borderline of predominately clear skies versus cloudy skies lol Sun belt = Bible belt? Hmmmmm.............

Yes, he is in love, but maybe it's okay. One could do worse than to have a love affair with God. Great then you can continue where I left off or not. I will probably have Samadhi nightmares tonight Having a love affair with a Samadhi is not the same as with God. Certain specific hallucinogens will bring about the exact Samadhi experience Steve is speaking about. Nope Walked a bit down the shaman path... I've tried just about every one of those drugs....not the same ;-)

Haha....yeah...personification of God is a kind of idolatry And yet, it is exceedingly clear that I am a personification of God. Funny that, so actually the idolitry is God personificating himself through the personification. LoL wooo.....if I think about that the TMT alarms start going off (Security to sector 9, TMT alert, Security to Sector 9 please)

To the second bit....the vedas that you are enjoying so much say different and so do I

I've talked about the limitations of Samadhi enough, but I also know the value of balance in mind and heart, and most here are woefully unbalanced. I value devotion and sincerity, and I'll not call it an addiction from which one must recover.

The Soma spoken actually in the Vedas is such a one but most people have no idea what it is. I do as it is a combination of plants and will bring you right into Samadhi. When I lived in India for a couple of years I spent sometime with a Agorha Naga master but that's another time and story

I have the recipe for the indian version someplace. In south america they use different plants to brew the DMT, but ayausca tea is fundamentally the same as Soma. And not the same as Samadhi. The Soma Rasa is a means, not Samadhi, just like sitting Zazen and doing the breathing and concentrating techniques ;-)
