LoL it is what it is....though if you really wanted to look at God's will, you might find that in this moment, God's will is that you are reading a forum post....and possibly thinking about getting something to eat and sitting on a cushion.... God's will is the ISNESS OF RIGHT NOW. Yup that works perfectly in my world so are you a old member that does the name change thingy? Not so much, though occasionally yes....I seem to get banned from here a lot, and the banned account prevents the re-use of the former screen name.

Bad boy but that's ok as long as you don't take it personally

Do you really think God's will is to sit on a meditation pillow in silence until the mind/body dies?! What if his will was to use death as an adviser so that he could live and experience the manifestation of a human to the fullest? What does "Gods Will" even mean? Who is God here? Well I don't actually believe in God's will, nor do I actually not believe in God's will... Steve mentioned that for him, God's will was for him to sit in samadhi... So you'll have to ask Steve those questions...

Do you really think God's will is to sit on a meditation pillow in silence until the mind/body dies?! What if his will was to use death as an adviser so that he could live and experience the manifestation of a human to the fullest? I have no idea what Hod's will is, other than what is happening right now. having said that, why do you ask? Do you know anyone that is sitting on a meditation cushion in silence until the mind/body dies? Do you even know of anyone that has advocated that? If you do not know of anyone that is sitting on a cushion meditating until the body/mind dies, or anyone that has advocated it, why are you asking if someone believes that it is God's will? I am not idly asking, I am trying to point out how being absorbed in mentation and vasanas can take one down a meaningless path like this line of questioning that you started with that post, and how that whole movement is based on a self delusion. If you doubt that you have asked a question based on the self delusion that I said or believe that its God's will that I or anyone else should sit on a meditation cushion meditating until death, then you may want to look more closely at what was written to see if it is not a self delusion that you are engaging in. In this case, its pretty easy to see if you are deluding yourself about what I have written here...simply look at my posts without creating a story, just look. The investigation can be a good chance to see on yourself how one can get drug along by vasanas. It seems Ironic that this is just the sort of invitation I extend to folks on a regular basis here, that you refer to as psychology and trying to understand mind, and advise against. Or maybe you've changed your view about that?

There may be lots of reasons why one might ask another about something he doesn't believe in himself. Apart from that, what he actually said is "I don't actually believe in God's will, nor do I actually not believe in God's will."

Thank God! So my will atm is to get something to eat then maybe sit on a soft pillow in silence LoL it is what it is....though if you really wanted to look at God's will, you might find that in this moment, God's will is that you are reading a forum post....and possibly thinking about getting something to eat and sitting on a cushion.... God's will is the ISNESS OF RIGHT NOW. The idea that there is a 'God's will' is a conceptual overlay.
