I think that we are a big school and we are all evolving into something more. That sounds like a strange perspective to me. Why should I learn anything or evolve into something or participate in some big universal project if soon I will die anyways? I won't be there to enjoy the fruits of all the work, so why should I make any effort? I don't owe anyone anything and I can't recall signing up for some weird evolution project. If you want to live forever and be eternal, all you have to do is your personal work. The body is born of woman and must die with the ego. What is inside is forever, and maybe someday you will do enough work to remember who you really are. You already are eternal and one with all.

uhm. not really. rhe somebody i used is a pronoun that refer to the universe. you are what the universe is actually doing right now. is what i meant. besides doing does not requires any attibute like motivation. what i am saying is even these are already worldviews. intrepretAtions of what wtf is going on. there is no end to what we can see or realize. however the happiest among them is that you can see and you exist from a cosmic point of view. Are you sure? Doing happens for no reason? im talking about the universe as a doing. there is no meaning and purpose for its existence. that is why in the final analysis there is no why exept the myths and legends of orgin we give to its existence as well as projecting purpose and meankng to it. i thought you were saying the same thing. although i believe in synchronicity.

Well, yeah, there's plenty of 'whooy' to go around.

I agree there's no 'universal' meaning or purpose, but you ("what the universe is doing") do have a motivation for doing what is done. Without it, nothing would be done. Surely that's obvious enough to see in your own life.

Surely that's obvious enough to see in your own life. An affluent industrialist said to the Master, "What do you do for a profession?" "Nothing," said the Master. The industrialist laughed scornfully. "Isn't that laziness?" "Heavens no. Laziness is mostly the vice of very active people." Later the master said to his disciples, "Do nothing and all things will be done through you. Doing nothing really takes a lot of doing. Try it!"
