fwiw I support neither the left nor right now. I supported Corbyn in 2017 and 2019, but am done with the political institution as a whole again. I didn't support a politician for 20 years previous to Corbyn and am quite happy to bin the lot of them again! I'm 99% sure I won't ever vote again. That's if there IS another opportunity to vote again

No it isn't Andrew. We are way past that. Only those that had a blaming mentality to begin with are falling for it. I was laughing out loud this morning at this article.. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-55787044The Government used to close down raves in the late 1980's, nothing has changed. I know for sure that there's still very large numbers of the public that blame the public. Have you see the voting surveys? It's frickin' astonishing how much support Johnson still has. All those people blame the public for Tory failure. And most of the left blame the 'irresponsible public' too (though to be fair to the left, they are also VERY happy to blame Johnson). I'll have a look at the article in the hope that I get to read about the raves I miss those raves (early 90s for me)

That's a fair point. In its own way it is fear porn and not healthy. This is something I consider in regard to conspiracies, and any kind of political discussion. Is it better to be aware of the (potential) truth of the matter? Or is blissful ignorance better? Perhaps the latter in many ways. I tend to weigh it up based on the energy and context in each moment. You may be right to an extent that that is what got us into the mess, but it's certainly not what has sustained the mess. Oh I'm not blissfully unaware. I want to know the arguments. They can't be countered without knowing what they are. I watched London Real for a couple of months last year. And I made a point of watching Icke's interviews. And from a place of Peace it's easy to see how the injections of fear are coming from both camps. My instincts work well and they told me that your video was laced with fear. Thanks for admitting it. That's okay, I'm quite happy to admit that a lot of conspiracy stuff often comes with...or even sometimes from... fear. What I would say is that at this point, the conspiracy stuff is NOT a theory. The World Economic Forum are absolutely open about their interests in resetting the planet. Matt Hancock has been absolutely open about his connections with the World Economic Forum. It's not hidden at all, it's out there for all to see. Anyone can google and find it in seconds. That doesn't mean that I believe it will happen the way they want it to. It's also very unclear just how much influence and power they have, and it's also very unclear just how strong the forces are that want a different path. I genuinely believe that something good is happening beneath all the chaos and weirdness and hysteria that we are seeing. I really have no idea how this year will play out though, I feel like there's so many different ways, and many that I can't see.

Yes, that's the honest truth I feel. I mean, we can surely empathize with the mourning that strangers go through with their family, but fact is, death is not the problem we are being pushed to believe it is. From a spiritual perspective, death is not a problem. From an animal perspective, death is not a problem. It's from an intellectual perspective, that death is a problem. So there's an enormous media and political hyperbole about 'the greater good', which is more of a 'righteous care'. An 'intellectual morality'. And this is damaging. And to be clear, I really do believe in the value of actual kindness. I continue to cross the street rather than make folks feel anxious. I'd rather bring a bit of calmness to people's lives than heap more stress on them. I think compassion and empathy is inherent in people and so it's natural to want to protect the vulnerable and care for the sick. Life is a beautiful precious thing. Yet you don't care about the 9 million dying of hunger each year, right? It's too abstract to care about. We care about what is in our face, and then 'mentally' spread that care outwards. There's a homeless guy outside my grocery store each day, and I usually buy him a sandwich when I see him. Also gave him my coat the other day (I'm such a good person eh). It's in my face so I act on it, and then 'mentally' consider the plight of other homeless people after. I'm not sure that that mental consideration is actually useful. I agree compassion and empathy is inherent, though I think there are exceptions, i.e some folks are wired to be psychopaths and sociopaths (interesting study that most CEO's register highly on the psychopath/sociopath scale).

Jan 24, 2021 9:29:13 GMT -6 farmer said: It would make no difference to me if 8 billion peeps died this year. And as usual with death you mourn the loss of the ones you loved, then move on. I've personally fed hungry people before, lots of people do. And something best handled at the local level.. neighbors helping neighbors. Humanity. yes that's how I'm seeing things, the more local the better. The support or assistance is negotiated between one human being and another. T These days I think government mandates which force folks to take care of each other just creates trouble because the negotiation between actual human beings is taken away from them. The capacity for 2 people to decide the relationship they want to have with each other is taken away. If someone asked me to wear a mask for their protection, I would be happy to oblige. It's personally negotiated between us. But I don't want strangers that I haven't asked, taking responsibility for my health. That's the government negotiating my relationships for me.

Hmmm.. ok. I don't really pay any emotional attention to what they say. I just notice that they can't be believed, and as I said what was absolutely true last week, is no longer. The latest turnaround will be on the time between the first vaccine and the 2nd, booster vaccine. They made it so that the 2nd vaccine could be given as late as 12 weeks later, to get the numbers up. To give the illusion that their only real success, the vaccine rollout has been even more successful. Now the British Medical Council are saying No. The 2nd booster vaccine must be given within 4 weeks.. so give it another week and that'll get changed. I see that they do try to put a positive agenda on what is a dreadful situation. They don't really try to blame the public for their failings because we all know that the advice/guidance is shot. The advertisement campaign is just what they've got to do. And there won't be a substantial pay rise for all of the NHS staff because.. well, I don't really have a suitable explanation for why not. I agree that Johnson constantly tries to patch up his latest disaster with some kind of spin But all it serves to do is heighten anxiety in the public. The blame on the public is always, 'you didn't follow the rules'. So then the public turn on each other, getting in each other's business, confronting each other, reporting each other. When the fact is that the failings in the last year....even from a non-conspiracy perspective.....are all down to the Tories. Sounds like a narcissist. Stockholm syndrome is alive and well.
