My first favorite band (until I found The Moody Blues). My first concert. CCR One of the first songs I ever learned to play on guitar. 😍 That must have been a great concert. I have another friend who's first concert was Jimi Hendrix, and I think it was in Utah back in the 60s/70s before he was really known (just after leaving Little Richards band). He had never heard of Jimi, but was prompted to go with another friend. He said he left in shock.  |

The Concert for Bangladesh may be the best film from a live concert ever. I saw it twice in the theater, the very old Carolina Theater downtown Charlotte, NC, it had a balcony where I always sat. I went the second time just to hear Leon Russell, again.
