Changing light bulbs on the ST forums How many online forum members does it take to change a lightbulb?
to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed.
to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently.
to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs.
to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs.
to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb"...another 6 to condemn those 6 as heretical
industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp".
know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct terminology.
to post that this folder does not include light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a more appropriate forum.
to defend the posting to this folder by claiming that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this folder.
to debate which method of changing light bulbs is spiritually superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this doctrinal position, and what brands are faulty doctrine.
to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs.
to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's.
to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this folder which makes light bulbs relevant to this folder.
to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "I agree".
to post to the thread that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy and resulting division it produces.
to say "didn't we go through this discussion already a short time ago?"
to say "do a Wiki search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs".
forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again....

You and I are two of a short list of members who are jaded, if you will and able to overlook that particular threesome's style of communication here. You may not have any idea, nor have not observed that there isn't much action or traffic on here besides that particular threesome, and as a matter of fact, when I said just the other day that I'd dearly love to hear from those silent observer type members, hybrid spoke up, and then tenko. It sure could be argued away that it was coincidental, but I think not. (*shrug*)I think if the so-called silent observers see that there is a kinder, gentler side to st.org, ha ha, they're willing to then stick their necks out (because that is how it MUST seem to plenty of potential respondents) and say a word or two. Heh, it reminds me of in the movie, the Matrix, when they're chowing down on a bland meal of gruel or porridge and one of them says their meals are like a big bowl of snot. Same sh!t, day in and day out. you're confusing quantity with quality (and max ain't jaded, he's doing yeoman's work 'round here) [and from yer other nonsensical comment ] the BP thread worked how, exactly? {moved post out of the baseball thread}

I realized at the time that jaded was not quite the word I was looking for. Acclimated perhaps? whatev Um, what do you mean by yeoman's work?! Whelp, the BP thread 'worked' -- did I use that phrase or word, 'worked'? IF you've never been a mother who lost their only child, and IF you're not drowning in a sea of pain, and IF ... well, being shook up like that was the beginning of my waking up to the fact that there's another way to live. So there, Mr. Critical.
