You've never had a strained lower back from over exertion, and placed your full awareness on it? I broke my wrist once and when it started throbbing that night after returning from the hospital I put my awareness on it and it stopped throbbing. The next day I had to go back to the doctor's office to have the wrist manipulated, and when he was finished he asked me if I wanted another prescription for pain medication. I told him it wouldn't be necessary, and handed him back the pain medication he had prescribed the night before. Awareness is healing. Oh, okay. You mean Awareness = Healing. Here, I was visualizing Awareness all mangled, with band-aids around it's... whatever, laying in a hospital bed, healing.

Top himself said he was the abusive one - taking a bullet for you, I guess, I don't know... I think he was referring to you and Top, in general in his initial post on this subject. I'm not sure why you often carve out a tiny little slice of a post, ignoring the whole rest of its content/intent, but I have my ideas about that. What abuse are we talking about here? That was MG's Giraffe. I just decided to play with it a bit. "I am an evil Giraffe player-wither. I will get up early and play with a Giraffe, giving the evil Giraffe's time in the morning to eat all the leaves off the trees. By the time I am done playing, there will be no more leaves on the trees. Then my Giraffe will die".

Thanks for what looks like to me to be a clear example of justification to remain abusive. How so? Specifically: What are you seeing as abusive? Apologies, M-G made big boo boo. The mistake i made was to think of two things at the same time. I was thinking and writing my post and also looking out my window and thinking it's that wonderful time of the day again when i go for a nice zen walk on the traintrack. So i hastily posted and it wasn't a minute or so on the track that i realized i left a whole bunch of stuff out. Will clarify next time i log on at home, as the library is busy and i don't like hoggin' when there are many others who want to use dem putas. ~laughs~ "log", "hog". <---M-G likes the symmetry.

Good evening.. Greetings.. If there is to be 'help', it will revel itself.. why do you suppose that you 'can' help? do you believe that it is your mission to help? I am here to share, and if 'help' is revealed while sharing, that will be received with gratitude.. So, if there is to be 'help', try sharing how your beliefs have made your existence clearer, more harmonious, or more peaceful.. Be well.. Dear Tzu: How can that kind of hearsay be of help to you? All is well..

Banging two brain cells together is enough to logically conclude it does take a lot of effort to compose a huge post. In other words...duh, obvious. I will add that it also takes a lot of effort to compose any size post so that it reaches the inner being of the person one is addressing. That is, to speak in such a way as the other openly and welcomingly receives it and values it. And that comes from also taking a lot of effort in actually listening to the other, instead of the quick and easy path of assuming and thus causing all forms of drama. Perhaps upon seeing that i read and reply to posts that you regard as not worth reading or replying to, it might be slowly dawning on you that your opinion/conclusion/judgement/assessment/whatever of others is simply yours and may not be a universal truth. My experience is quite different. It takes no effort for me to post. However, reading some of you guys does take effort. So I don't read that. Mostly I'd say it's just preferences and mental dispositions at play. But when I see these text walls I tend to doubt the clarity of the poster. Huge text walls are a sign of not thinking clearly. Some poet wrote some time ago to his poet friend (paraphrasing): "I'm in a hurry and can't think clearly so I'll write you a long letter instead of a short one."

I'm not sure why you often carve out a tiny little slice of a post, ignoring the whole rest of its content/intent, but I have my ideas about that. I suspect that the reason why it's done, is so that just the part you are responding to in your response is being quoted. Yes, I didn't used to delete quoted parts that I wasn't addressing, but I saw peeps getting confused or distracted and having trouble connecting the dots, so I try to make it more obvious. Folks often feel like I need to address general, groundless attacks or giraffes that have already been discussed more than adequately, while I don't. It seemed like Mr Goat was talking about my comment regarding a specific situation of alleged abuse, though he may well have been using it to talk about something else.

I'm LoLing because I see ego as an aspect of awareness. Awareness is healing. Awareness can be harmed? Either that or awareness is egoic. Or maybe something else. Something tells me we'll never know.

What abuse are we talking about here? That was MG's Giraffe. I just decided to play with it a bit. I read MG's post and for the sake of time, I will give you my take from where I am. My idea of abuse (overused word, granted) is more in the fact that you, Enigma and others, for a variety of motivations or out of sheer ignorance/not knowing/understanding, will respond in a way that can come across as such mainly because the time and effort to read, digest, and ask questions for clarification purposes isn't done and therefore, much unnecessary quibbling and knock-down-drag-outs happen on forums - destroys the sense of community that could possibly exist on a given forum as opposed to always with the 'family' squabbles. I was aghast at your and Enigma's 'take' on my post where I'm being accused of blackmail. Questioning of what you think about it is useless because you're not consciously aware of your own motivations. I know that gives you license to be even more aghast but it can't be helped.

Stop looking, silver. You can only conjecture about it, anyway. It's a little hard not to see something standing right in front of me. Yes, I know what you're saying. It's virtually a given that you will not see what's in front of you and will see what is not in front of you. That's what's being pointed out in all these wonderful conversations.

Yes, I didn't used to delete quoted parts that I wasn't addressing, but I saw peeps getting confused or distracted and having trouble connecting the dots, so I try to make it more obvious. Indeed, I do it quite frequently (even as with this very post), for clarity: The quote I leave in, is the quote to which I'm responding. I see others here do it, too, and I appreciate it.

So, if there is to be 'help', try sharing how your beliefs have made your existence clearer, more harmonious, or more peaceful.. Be well.. Dear Tzu: How can that kind of hearsay be of help to you? All is well.. If the sharing is honest and sincere, it can reveal the relationship between someone's beliefs and the quality of their existence.. if the quality of their existence is clear, peaceful, and harmonious it may serve as inspiration for others to explore the beliefs claimed to cause the desired quality of existence.. Speaking from my personal perspective, i am better able to sense the relationship between the claims of beliefs and the claims of the beliefs' effects, through the experiencer's understanding of their day-to-day interactions with Life, rather than the experiencer's recital of mantras and talking points.. Rather than the customary spiritual intellectualization of beliefs, and the competitive intellectualization that often follows, or the 'at all costs' campaign to ensure the preferred beliefs are perceived as superior to other beliefs.. rather than that level of attachment and distortion, i favor the experiencer's accounts of clear, peaceful, and harmonious experiences in their day-to-day Life, and their understanding of how their beliefs influenced that condition.. but, that's just 'me', i suppose there are those that favor the endless bickering of theoretical belief comparisons.. Be well..
