It apparently gets peeps attention. I'm happy to see folks laugh at themselves too, which seems most appropriate, though it's not the usual response. At the Pavlina forum, mocking (or kmocking) was a capital offense, and one of the reasons for Exactamente's crucifiction. (banishment) There is a difference between saying something to make someone laugh and saying something to diminish (which is egoic), and in our hearts, we are all sensitive to that difference. If it really is a joke, the other person will find it hard NOT to smile because the intent comes through. Oh, no, I don't 'mock' you to make you laugh. I said laughing at yourself seems most appropriate, though not the usual response. The label of "mocking" has a derogatory implication and is assigned by the one feeling the personal affront. Nothing is intended in a personal way. If you knew I wasn't judging you, it wouldn't look like mocking. I do understand why it does though. If you could observe your conditioning instead of identifying it as what you are, you couldn't judge yourself. In this absence of judgment by anyone, there would be no problem. No mocking.

When the intent from the other is to create laughter and not diminish, then laughter at oneself happens. I come from a London pub background and am made of fairly tough stuff when it comes to jibes etc, so I dont take your mockery very personally, however I am clear when the agenda is more about diminishing than laughter. Im not saying you do it a lot a lot, its usually when the going gets tough for you. By the way, I just noticed that you seem to have a smiter on your tail. Even though you irritate me sometimes, I havent smited you (or anyone else).

Me and my wife are on the same page with all this stuff so there really isnt much to say to each other about it. There isn't much to say only if you're interested in repeating what you already know. If you're interested in exploring/creating, it's perfect that you are on the same page.

But thats why their isnt much of an 'analytical' nature for us to talk about. Which I appreciate. There have been periods in the past where we talked a lot about all this stuff, but its just not like that these days.

You have the perfect partner for creating everything you talk about on the forum. It's interesting that you don't discuss this stuff so much these days.

Doesn't matter in any event.

By the way, I just noticed that you seem to have a smiter on your tail. my guess is that the nebbish has returned with a big ol enlightened grudge on his shoulder getting temporary bliss from hitting enigma's smite button.

Ah, ha. Thank you, I had to look that word up. Very good. Well although I have to appreciate the universal symmetry of Enigma having a karma score of 42, lets see what a few drops in the karmic ocean can achieve in terms of putting things back where they ought.

i personally find it's an incredibly, indescribably loving act to care more about the truth of a person than their stories. most people feel attacked on the receiving end, though, depending on whatever degree they're involved in believing their own ego-tale. but wow is it beautiful.

Equally I cant honestly say that I know mocking is happening sometimes. But it seems like there is and I trust that seeming.
