How is spirituality (I use the term generically) lived in your life? Ordinary life during most of the day, with periodic ATA--just enjoying the fall foliage, deer, birds, skies, etc. In the evenings Carol and I often listen to CD's of old-time spiritual hymns (our American version of Hindu devotional bhajans--ha ha) while silently watching flames in a fireplace. On weekends we hike in the woods, and often spend hours sitting together on a deck silently watching clouds or stars. We discuss non-duality-related issues virtually every day. Carol watches lots of Mooji satsangs on Youtube, and reads books by Adya. I read about economics, finance, and business, do lots of writing, and pursue many other interests. Every six weeks or so we drive to a city in the mountains, and spend every afternoon sitting in a skybar on top of a seven-story building sipping a glass of wine, and watching spectacular mountain sunsets in silence. You could say that our primary focus is upon "what is", and that nothing else matters much anymore.....or, maybe we're just getting senile. *smile*

Greetings.. How is spirituality (I use the term generically) lived in your life? Hi Autumnleaf: I suppose most of us have differing understandings of the word 'spirituality', but.. based on my understanding, it is acknowledgment of the relationship i experience between me the 'part', and me the 'greater whole'.. the acknowledgement is manifested by letting go of the obstacles that distort the relationship/experience/clarity that flows between part and whole, realizing that it is the experience that reveals what 'is'.. existence is not a spectator sport, and it's not mind-games.. it's a willingness to let go of all that you know and all that you believe, just to feel the alive newness of it happening for the first time, again.. just to see if you will interpret it the same way, again, and.. let it go, again, and again, and again.. always living Life with one expectation, that it will amaze and awe you, just so you can let it go and do it again.. how tragic it must be, continually trying to fit Life/existence into beliefs and attachments, assuming what one knows is all that can be known, that they have 'the truth'.. exhilaration and liberation begin with: "i don't know".. Be well..

How is spirituality (I use the term generically) lived in your life? There was a time when there seemed to be a separation between 'my little life' and spirituality. As in, "Isn't there something more?" So spirituality became something I did (practiced, read about, basically played out the yearning) when I didn't have to work or do laundry or whatever. What I've discovered is that this little life is the 'something more'. Every millisecond of existence is imbued with it.

I usually say a little prayer before running drugs and guns across the border. (Dear NSA overlords- just kidding)

How is spirituality (I use the term generically) lived in your life? Spirituality is a path you choose to take, a journey you embark upon with no set destination. In deciding to explore spiritual ways of living, you’re committing to looking within and increasing your faith in life.

Thanks for sharing.

How is spirituality (I use the term generically) lived in your life? You can't live a concept. Which part do you see as the concept? spirituality (used only as a generic term) or living life?
