What do you mean by letting everything go?! Does everything include thoughts, experiences, feelings, sounds, smells, tastes, and sights?! Yes....cling to nothing....be completely unattached to whatever appears in your sphere. But mainly, let go of knowing, identifying, and trying to understand everything. Knowing creates the illusion of separateness in Being. Empty your glass of all knowing, and do not seek to refill it. I must not be ripe cuz I have no idea how that would come to pass.

Can you look upon the world, and inside yourself, for just one brief moment, without knowing anything? If you can do it for one moment, you can do it for two, and three, and four moments. Keep coming back to looking without knowing, and you will find everything that you seek.

What about the unconscious habits of knowing, identifying, and trying to understand everything... How do I let go of something that I'm not conscious of?!

Just now, absorbed in the sensual experience of washing dishes, there was no thought of knowing. That happens throughout the day and at night. Of course, per this particular subject, now I'm wondering how one could possibly know that they're not knowing. So I take sip of Harpoon and go back to the dishes.

Don't over complicate it....just be alert, and conscious, but without knowing....if in your alertness you see knowing arising, let it go, and not know.

What about the unconscious habits of knowing, identifying, and trying to understand everything... How do I let go of something that I'm not conscious of?! Alertness brings consciousness to the unconscious....remain alert, and you will see when even the most subtle kinds of knowing arise. There is no need to go searching for hidden forms of knowing to "root them out"....only remain alert in your not knowing, and by and by you will become more sensitive to more subtle forms of knowing that arise....and as they arise from unconsciousness into alert consciousness, release them moment to moment. Don't be concerned with some future possibility of knowing that may arise, just this moment is enough to BE in..... without knowing. By and by the momentum of conscious and unconscious knowing will run out of steam, and come to rest.

Being busy at the sink soapingnsinging the dishes without thought, just watching... it never dawned upon me that what had been accepted as the norm, had been ascended-from and I gave her abscent mindedly tea instead of coffee, after years of the usual-conditioning. Her nose twitched first, she takes another sip,an another then she withdrew her lips from the mug and began sucking and tasting the remaining contents inside her mouth. Confused, she stands right-in-my-face and asks, "is this tea or coffee?" her taste-buds setting her conditioned mind in disarray. Little things show us the way!

So I take sip of Harpoon and go back to the dishes. Max, I learn heaps at the sink...what turned me onto this feeling-attentive action was wayback 30 years agao, when I approached the sink piled-up with dirty dishes, sighed and decided they had to be done, and I was the one to do it. Putting bubbles afloat, I began.... but when i returned to normal conciousness 30 minutes later, the dishes were already washed and extremely neatly staked on the draining-tray...me just standing there in a dream. I had disappeared and knew not where i went as i had brought back no memories which would have informed me i was tripping. wtf, I was hooked and when-ever i did the dishes after that, my stacking was done so-perfect, it became an art-form for me, which impressed my (then)wife considerably. Becoming addicted to dish-washing, when ever we visited friends, i would always drift into their kitchen an attend to washing-up if things aint been done. I only stopped-it when a jealous Husband attacked me by saying, "You do this to get into the women!" He meaning his-woman. Perhaps, not doing the dishes after that occasion was the begining of my marriage break-down as I went to a Guru for enlightenment and became cuckholded. I am back at the sink now, and happily-engaged in another marriage...lol
