Of course, I'm not trying to explain life, nor am I saying humans aren't life. I'm just talking about realization. You sound like what's-his-name who kept saying no realization was necessary because that which doesn't realize it is free, is already free. It's an absurd statement. The prisoner who doesn't know the gate is unlocked is still in prison until he realizes that. As usual, I suspect he's sinking further and further into ACIM. You should avoid giving your thoughts so much importance, it's rather embarrassing...

How can it be free if you have no free will?

How can it be free if you have no free will? In the study of Vedanta you are given a provisional self and this does have free will. Nowhereman

Nowhereman 'Who/what' gives you this "provisional self"? isn't just 'you' describing and aspect of what you 'are'? Be well..aullt exists Vedanta does not deny reality as we see it in our body/mind. We use this reality to remove ignorance with the end result of seeing who you are. For this a provisional self is used. Now from the Self point of view none of this actually exists. The Self is pure non dual but this info gets you nothing and allows no playing ground, allows nothing really so we use a provisional self to experiment with. be well also Nowhereman

It's not your fault or your problem that you can't help conceiving about how Life doesn't know it's free and that it's a prisoner, and how Life needs Realizing... None of those thoughts are actually true... They are the conceptual toys you like to play with, and nothing can move you to put them into the toy box... How, in this sense, is "Life" not your conceptual toy here?

But that's not all! Act now, pay no freight, and we'll throw in a free sense of purpose ... that's right, a $19.99 value for free!

This forum wouldn't exist if it wasn't for conceiving...
