Greetings.. Greetings.. LOL.. you 'say' one thing, but 'do' another.. Your perception of where i 'reside' is distorted by your beliefs about 'reason'.. i 'reside' where reason is one of many possible tools for navigating the information revealed by awareness.. reason, along with clarity, intelligence, still mind, silence, unconditional curiosity, are among the tools available to those interested in exploring their relationship with 'That which is'.. Be well.. Reason can't explore what is, because reason is a perception of what is... And you'll reside there as long as your attention is focused on the reasonableness that clarity, intelligence, still mind, and silence are what is...which they aren't... Thank you.. it's unfortunate that you are mistaken, and unwilling to examine yourself, but.. it's your choice and you seem happy with your beliefs, enjoy.. Be well..

Greetings.. The terms are not useful for consistency but rather justifying your own beliefs as something different and special so that they may remain unexamined. It's all totally 100% made up out of thin air. You should do some 'actual' research, as opposed to believing your own beliefs.. Be well.. I don't have to do any research to know that your semantics came directly from your imagination.

Well, you'll never know how wrong you are, but it's that way with folks like you, you place your faith in the belief that ignorance is bliss.. If you decide you would be interested in 'understanding' something, google the meanings of words like: belief, knowledge, and understanding.. or, continue to believe in your own beliefs.. in any case, this is becoming amusing, so continue.. Be well..

Be well.. are you suggesting that we should use google to understand stuff? LOL that reminds me of the guy fascinated with salt, so he read every book he could find, studied the quotes of others, and then intellectually knew all kinds of information about salt ... except, having never tasted it, he was ignorant of salt's usefulness. one taste will irrevocably inform him what all of the books never could.

LOL.. No.. i'm suggesting that Silence's belief that i pulled those descriptions "out of thin air" is no more justified than his desire to manipulate the impression of what i had posted.. but hey, that's the nature of attachment, when people's attachments feel threatened, they conjure accusations like " your semantics came directly from your imagination".. very simple research reveals the ignorance of such an accusation.. Be well..

Belief is a psychological state where the experiencer holds a proposition or supposition to be true, regardless of justification.. In all sincerity, there is an ambiguity in these words. It might mean one of the following: 1) A psychological state that is justified is not a belief. 2) There are justifiable and justified beliefs, and then there are beliefs that are not. Which one of these did you intend to convey?

Greetings.. Hi Bill: "Regardless of justification", was conveyed with the intention to illustrate that the believer holds the belief to be true without regard to justification, such that without justification, or whether justification supports the belief or not, the believer remains attached to the belief.. The term 'justifiable' has a dependent quality, based on " reasonable and necessarily plausible assertions/evidence/guidance".. such that the believer's justification may or may not adequately 'justify' such belief.. your example 1) doesn't differentiate between valid or invalid justification, so.. the sociopath can justify their behavior by stating that ' it doesn't matter, people aren't real they're just imagined'.. is that valid justification? As for your example 2), the example is stated correctly, but.. without differentiating between valid justification and invalid justification there is ambiguity as to the validity of the belief.. hence, that is the differentiation i was trying to convey by including 'valid belief' as 'knowledge'.. it is not sufficient to stipulate a belief as 'justified', if the basis for that justification is not based on " reasonable and necessarily plausible assertions/evidence/guidance".. Be well..

I can't even take this seriously at this point. *watching silence bang his head against the wall* *cracks open a pair of beers* There's an open one for ya when ya get done.... Being told someone's beliefs aren't beliefs because they can be found on Google is usually the right time to slowly back out of the conversation.
