Yes, but in talking about it here, you saw paradox. Does that mean that you havent embraced the seeming paradox? Well no, I'm just trying to explain it to people who may not have noticed it before. What I'm saying is that I know it's not actually a paradox, but It can only be seen as that from within the dream, unless you embrace this fact totally. But the point is that you can see it is if you look one way, I can see it is if I look one way, you can also see that it isnt if you look one way, I can also see that it isnt if I look one way. Just different ways of seeing. To me, the truth of whether it is or isnt is less relevant than the importance of being flexible in our seeing.

Though I have to say I do kinda quite like being silly sometimes

Although, thinking about it, I didn't mean silly in the usual sense, but in the non-dual sense....if that makes any sense

Yes One of the things I love about having kids in my life is that it gives me plenty of opportunities to be unabashedly silly hehe.

Yeah I realise that. Maybe I should have used another word. I feel that the kinds of concepts that I use in this way actually serve to point away from all concepts, including themselves.

You lost me lolly. You go off into this complex trapez of words and notions. Come back to earth and speak simple English for this dummie. What is it that you want done differently on here? Or is this just a platform thread to preform upon? It's discussion of the process on inquiry for the purpose of refining understanding of it.

meditation is what you do when you find yourself constantly-thinking and decide to change your current apprciation of life, and so watch thought and allow your mind to unwind, so that you can come back into your 'peace of mind' spot and possibly go even further into what appears like No-mind, 'cept mind is all around you and you're Bathing in it.
Meditation is what we do to unwind the coil-spring that at times becomes unsprung all by itself in a rush, or slowly, gradual like, when you, the Observor watches your natural breathing cycle slowly changing, right before your faultless minds-eye.
Meditation is Good for Doing Nothing!

I don't see it that way at all, actually I see the object and the subject are not the same, the object is the seen and the subject is the seer. Lolly, I wanted to bump this since you've recently made an appearance. It's from the subjectivity thread. Can you say anything more about the above quote? it's refreshingly against the grain of the nondual stuff. Observation creates distinction and only duality can be obsereved, however, nothing is seperate from that distinction. What we observe is a distinction between the changing moving world, and the constant presence of observance. When you are distacted by minds reactivity you are swept off into the moving world as you lose awareness of presence. This is a clear distinction. Remain aware of presence and allow the moving world its freedom...

Remain aware of presence "pervading all space and time", and allow the moving world its freedom... Your quote is better like this...the rest was just useless fluff lol....this however, is wonderful. Who are you to merit the contents of my posts? I begin at one conjecture in response to the enquiry so as to make clear the important distinction... then draw to conclusion in the point you have cited. If indeed I merely stated the conclusion, it would in no way resemble a response to the enquiry.
