Michael... i'm not interested in virtual confrontation, but i have to say this. I posted a simple insight. You could have considered it, or rejected it. But instead you judged it. You pigeon-holed it as "neo-advaita" (whatever that is, who cares? it's a label) and then ranted about your favorite hobby horse. I sorta read it, but mostly what you write is "blah blah blah" in my head. You have pretty much driven me from this board because of your long-winded opinionated posts. Is there ANY thread on the board right now in which you haven't added your two cents? Have you said anything new in the last six months? Have you listened to anyone else? Considered any other point of view but your own? Ignoring you doesn't even do any good because everyone quotes you in order to argue with you. Perhaps i will make it to your coveted iggy list now... and then maybe you won't post in my threads any more. Win-win, right? Grow up, sweetie. It's time. This is it. Ok drama Queen you are and sorry to say but it's you that needs to mature here. If you do not like what I post just put me on the iggy list and you will not see any of my posts. If you cannot do such a simple thing like that then I would assume you just like to hear yourself complain. Oh fyi dear the Iggy list is for all members here and if I bug you that much then you should have had me on that list after my first post. Don't whine but do is my motto Michael

E. wrote, "ZD doesn't engage with most of the silliness here because he has no interest." I have an interest, but I've concluded that when a mind is happily closed, it makes more sense to engage with minds that are still open. The world is perfectly wonderful however it manifests, but there are only so many hours in the day, and it makes more sense to go where the probability of effectiveness is more favorable. Well, yeah, which sounds like another way of saying you have little interest in engaging a mind that is happily closed, which makes perfect sense if the goal is to be effective.

does anyone else know what the image is michaelsees is referring to? an old man stringing things up?? pm me if you don't want to get iggied or add fuel to the fire. I think he meant 'stirring' things up, as in starting trouble. ;D Not sure how that relates to old men. Maybe a cultural thingy. Those projections sure are persistent. Hehe.

Don't you know old men are always stirring up trouble? Bear traps in the lawn and peeping through windows and the like.......
Hahahahahaha. Crotchety old men. What a great stereotype!

Nothing is going to happen. This is it. Welcome to Here! ;D Not to put you to task or anything, but, since the event is so fresh, please share with the board the feeling/insight of shifting between realized and the memories of conceptually-based "This is it". Feel free to be as messy, redundant, or hooshigoogow as you please! haha I like to feel how another One senses from where I Am, so to speak. I have a big grin on my face now for some reason! Then again, if you prefer for now to just hang in that ness, that's cool too. Hugs!

Where you from, anyhoo? Hehe. Bear traps in the lawn?? I know! The guys all on about sharks and bears! haha Not condoning it as any kind of practice , but I must say, I do enjoy being just a rung or two lower on the food chain on occasion. It's a curiosity thing that really brings up some interesting primal stuff, if one is so inclined! Sensing the animal sensing you and how you interact in that context can bring about some stark realities about what impersonal really means/feels like.

Hahaha, it's just an exaggerated stereotype. I know I've heard that joke about the bear traps somewhere else before...
But really, the idea is to put the bear traps in your yard to keep the kids out so they won't eat your shark meat while you wrestle with those bears. I mean, honestly, what else would they be for?
My sense of humor would take the joke further, but I think it might be a bit morbid in others' opinions.

Its obvious why those old Zen Masters kept a big stick close at hand. Nothing like a solid whack upside the head to open a closed mind..... or at least stop it from babbling for a while. LOL.

Hi SomeNothing.
The realization that this is it is not at all different from the concept that this is it. It's it, whether i am in the mind or just being here. I'm not enlightened and that is not going to happen. I've been expecting something to happen... a magical grace to whack me upside the head and get rid of "me". Now i see that me is it too. I can just relax and let it be. No more resistance to myself. It's nice in a way. But "me" is mightily disappointed. Me wanted pretty colors and feeling one with everything. Oh well... still dealing with that burst bubble. *lol* That too is it.
And i will take this moment to apologize to the board for my part in the whole michaelsays debacle... i feel sorry for the guy, actually... I truly wish him peace. ♥;

Oh well... still dealing with that burst bubble. *lol* That too is it. Yeah, probly no fireworks or enlightened personhood or nuthin (hehe) but there may be a point where you look for this 'me' and all you find is a body with a bunch of thoughts and stuff. No center. That 'me' thing is an enormous burden to carry around. At some point it gets too heavy and it quietly slips from the fingers, and somehow it's more than okay.
