yea the awakened one in question is one of the few on this site that i have seen lead with the statement 'i am awakened' and is also one of the few that appears to be most asleep! not surprising really. lol Very few know what awakening is. As a matter of fact posted time and time again by the elite here Enigma and ZD they say they know nothing over and over again and you know what I believe them but when a someone says there is more to know . IT is the truth that sets you free not the I know nothing hear so much on this site. True awakening is rare but the carny stuff be paraded around everywhere these days is so easy to obtain. Oh one more thang ahh nevermind few ever get the truth most stop at I don't know and try their best to make I don't know mystical or scared whatever floats their boat I know my boat will stay afloat . Oh yes would love to swim with dolphins. But even more would like to swim with the manatees--they are completely fascinating. I could go to the zoo and watch only the manatees and not feel as if I missed much (as long as I also see the white tigers) :-)
Sharon, I am taking that as an offer of a boat, so I will be by shortly to pick it up!

The dolphin pic appears to be a cow and a pup...could be wrong though...oh well. Anyway, Michael, I looked at those sites you provided, and my mind went into logic-chopping mode as I read. Though seemingly thorough in their regrard for labeling and building arguments, they seemed riddled with misperceptions, assumptions, and judments about "otherness" as well as the whole process that most people in the apparent world often experience in such an endeavor. The general theme seemed to be that they failed to see the advaita movement in relation to the movement of history in this whole field of "spiritual searching". Many of the ideas could easily have been turned around and seen in its own "traditional advaita" movement. - people with no complte understanding
- developing dependency
- building up and giving the ego license
- prescriptive psychologically rewarding practices as set forth in the chosen
- etc
Rather than constantly polarizing issues through their differences and valuing "what I liked", I tended to use the ideas presented in readings and conversations, see how they "looked" juxtaposed against my own limited understanding, contemplate ad nauseum if needed, intuite a direction, and generally go with it...the process was always a work in progress. I truly felt in my heart of hearts that some ideas were for some people at given times, others were not, and it was the person and their search who must live with it all anyway, sooo. And I just looked at it and looked at it and looked at it, it was as if I was sharpening this knife, cutting through crap, giving the me clarity. I continued using this on my own self, cutting deeper and deeper, against the whim and wills of those close to me (most of whom likely had their own egoic needs for 'my' attention/energy/skills/etc) and began to realize that no matter what I do, there I am (hint hint)....and this just went on and on with bouts of depression, glorious days of transcendance, weeks of contemplation, and a continuing unconscious pattern working toward simplification...boiling it down...getting to the salt. I sensed that it would be done when it was done. Waaay closer than close. Waaay more divine than the divinity mind can come up with. Together, all as one, IT. I sense that's what the sincere posters here are more or less doing, which is nice in its own. Such honesty and simplicity in this most human of endeavors; reaching out to touch some divinity that IS eternally in/as their lives. Simply Beautiful. Anyway, back to the discussion. I think that if you choose to make your path about railing against "neo" advaita, you're zeal and obsession will likely lead you to believe you are doing all of this 'for the sake of mankind'. This could easily lead to some advaitic witch hunt, which I think would be EXTREMELY unfruitful in the blogosphere you've chosen as your medium of exchange. Granted, that kind of thing has its place in the great story of consensual reality, but I do sense you want more of that something prior to such imaginings. >>Dream- You know what to do; you already feel it. The mind is what's confusing the issue, pulling you in several directions at once due to past relations, senses of right/wrong, good/bad, etc. In whatever way you go about it, find and dissolve a little into Presence, sense the direction of the Life, and flow. You seem to have a delightful intelligence and a deep capacity for love, creativity, and honesty. Your window onto this world will likely not make sense to many others as you bring such awareness into your life, but fear not, it is just Life. Reach out/within. There's no place like Here, wherever you may roam. I have to run, the drama needs me at school! haha ;D

Working on my application to work as an RA and camp counselor for Space Camp in Alabama. ^_^ Last post...! If you like animals and are considering how to take some time out, consider volunteer work (for room and board) in Malaysian Borneo. They have a nice oranguatang rehab center that is very popular with workers from all over the world. If you're looking for a change....working with foreigners in a foreign land to work with primates in a dying rain forest in a very interesting culturally diverse place of the world might be interesting. There's something about staring into the eyes of primates...IN-TER-EST-ING fo me. Then, of course, you can go up to Sipadan and swim around with millions of fish, sharks, rays, ..... I'm off!

I would love to go out of country, but not in the budget at all. heh, I'm struggling to find money for food at this point. Not so keen on swimming with sharks though . . . I really wouldn't worry about sharks too much unless you're in Florida (those guys have more shark attacks than anywhere else I've heard of in the world) or the area is native to tiger sharks or orcas. They don't bother with humans most of the time because we taste bad--the only time sharks bother with humans is out of sheer curiosity, but there are some simple ways of repelling most sharks. 3/4-empty plastic bottles make the most obnoxious noises to underwater folk, and if the shark sees you putting up virtually any amount of a fight it'll probably avoid you. They don't want to chance getting their eyes damaged. They're also extremely sensitive to electricity--they can sense 5/1,000,000,000 of a volt measured in a centimeter-long ampulla (whatever that is). How you shock them without shocking yourself in water is beyond me though..
