My distrust in Math began when i was twelve, in highschool. a point has no dimensions. a line is made up of points. i protested but was overruled without any explanation how a zero could, when multiplied with itself, could become 1 - a line, a dimension, a THING. This assault on rationality made me lose interest. Oh I'm sorry you were subjected to the "because it just is" style of teaching there sunshine, but I guess when you've got 30 students in a class you can't afford to get pulled down rabbit holes. I wouldn't say a zero dimension thing is being multiplied by itself, I'd say its just being multiplied by infinity - you'd agree there are an infinite number of points on a line? Calculations where zero and infinity meet are always a bit wobbly - people tend to get stuck saying "Oh but any number multiplied by zero is zero" Well yes, but we're talking about infinity here, you need to make some allowances. I like coming at it from an engineering approach and say you have something tending towards a very small thing and something tending towards a very large thing and what would that look like, because generally lines (and graphs) don't suddenly do freaky things infinitely fast at infinitely small points, they work towards them in some predictable way (albeit very fast in some cases). So for an infinite number of zero sized things you could work your way towards that by doing: 0.1 x 10 = 1 now make the 0.1 even smaller and the 10 even bigger by dividing/multiplying by 10 which keeps the equation balanced. 0.01 x 100 = 1 0.00000000001 x 1000000000000 = 1 So keep going and you'll have something that's pretty close to zero being multiplied by something that is equally close to infinite and voila: 1. It's an approximation of course, but I think it would hold down to the Planck length.

I was going to censor you there dason for failing to pass the Turing test, but actually reading through your posts I find them more enjoyable than many of those posted by users that I'm fairly sure are human, so carry on.

Can you say why it is a secret? Did someone tell you to keep it quiet, or is it like blowing out candles - it doesn't come true if you tell someone about it? The reason here is, Once I teach you, you can use to control other person, I see many people used this technique for attracting girls. Once you started to use this techniques, Girls has no way to say no to you other than experiencing the reality you created for them. This is one of the reason I believe this has to be in secret. People like Satch force other to meditate as well . My point is, you can control other people movement, that's the problem I see. Well, that does sound like black magic indeed. Perhaps it's best you don't tell me, I'm not sure I could be trusted with that power.

That is bit secret, I can't reveal ! I believe If one is destined to know that secret, He would come to know. Can you say why it is a secret? Did someone tell you to keep it quiet, or is it like blowing out candles - it doesn't come true if you tell someone about it?

I have been repeating some lines for first 6 months, I did not see a single result, later I found a way to impress the subconsciousness and then things start to flow on as I expected. What was the way?

If one is wanting to stop unwanted thoughts, one must understand why they arise. If they are random, nothing can be done. They will keep arising no matter what. If they are the result of one's interest, one can either relax and follow that interest, or see if the interest can be dissolved with clarity. Nonsense Well it seemed a valid idea to me, although we could go on to make points for meditation and making "unwanted" the problem rather than the random thoughts themselves. But just writing "Nonsense" gets us nowhere, Satchitananda. Please attempt to move the discussion forward - some rebuttal if nothing else, a point of view - rather than 100% put-down. Ditto "Imagination". If you've run out of things to say, stop talking. I did Thanks.

Actually, you picked it up from me, but you don't seem to know how to use it, so please put it back down. Seriously?? you think i picked-up the word 'sincerity' from you?? does your arrogance have no limits?? and, you have the unmitigated gall to preach 'oneness' while trying to claim ownership of a word??.. chill, dude, you're getting a little frenzied trying to salvage that illusion of a self-image.. I've understood the importance of living with unconditional sincerity long before our paths crossed.. My take is that when what is being experienced is emotional reactivity - frustration, anger, righteousness - that expressing that with unconditional sincerity might not be the most skilful course of action. Rather, breathing into the pain and looking for the source would seem to be...the next step on the path that we're all quietly invited to walk. Not that anyone has much of a choice in this of course - you're going to react how you're going to react - but my feeling is that the person clinging onto the top of the elephant at least has some vote to cast. Just not a majority share. P

You are still totally convinced that I'm real and experience exactly as you do. Isn't that silly, given your so-called realization? You see, you just keep proving my point again. From the vantage point of a separate volitional person, you have no choice but to take the other for real, not matter what you have concluded. It's in your blood. And you can't do anything about it even you try really really hard. What a worthless 'realization'! Dude, better go to elementary school to improve your understanding power! ~ and repeated ~ Dude better go to elementary school to improve your understanding power, I am not saying for Joke, I mean it. Because you really deserve for that. Please take a class. Yes so Reefs filed a complaint as he said he would and you play right into it Gopal. The reason I'm going to give you a two week break here is that - ok Reefs may be deliberately needling you - but he's doing it while staying on topic, whereas you just seem to have sunk to repeated name calling and abuse. You're not even attempting to put forward a point of view. I suggested you ignore Reefs, you didn't take it. OK. Did you have a choice about that? Do I in what I do?

I was surprised to see you being so blatantly rude, Gopal. You are of course welcome to ignore Reefs if you wish ( some users would might recommend it, even) and there is functionality in the board for doing so automatically. But he's as welcome to post here as you are. Official Warning. P I'm surprised to see you going down that exact same slippery slope. Links or giraffes? Fair point, I'll edit that.

And now, all you "spiritual" creeps, have a nice .... whatever. I'm fed up with too many....you name it and I think all of you are hopefully on your way to get in touch with what is real. Is that to say that you're leaving us Hicksetta?

But can you please explain to me the difference between a "bun fight" and the OP? Did you read the OP? I did read the OP. The difference is like the difference between "You're a poop head" and "I'd like us to take the time to have a serious discussion about my perception that you might be a poop head, and how we both feel about that" which...yes I take your point that it could be obfuscated abuse but I have to say, it's been well obfuscated. You could consider having a go at actually looking at what's being discussed, rather than going straight into right / wrong. Alternatively you could decide that you don't fancy having that conversation and say something along the lines of "I feel like you're not being genuine in this discussion and are just attacking me". You don't have to respond if you're not enjoying the conversation. Also, how is it not trolling? What if I'd written something similar to it about silver or figgles? Would you have taken action then? Oh I'm not saying it's not trolling. It does have some thin veneer of possibility that Jay genuinely wants you to look at the topic with fresh eyes. Enough for me to give him the benefit of the doubt. But yes it could quite easily just be Jay taking a pop at you and dressing it up in enough verbiage to disguise it as a civilised discussion - which is also what happened in that post you reported when he did the same thing to Tano. So in summary, benefit of doubt but the evidence is mounting. I think if you managed (or could be bothered) to hide your sniping under that sheer level of semi sincere verbiage, yes I probably would let you off with it, assuming I managed to make it to the end of the post without my eyes bleeding. Jay, you could work at being more concise in your writing you know? It's just considerate to your readership. Would make your work more accessible.

please move this thread over into the Unmoderated section, as jay's initial quotes are from there. I'm assuming Jay restarted a new thread here because he wanted to keep the topic somewhat on track and avoid delay it descending into a bun fight. Moving (and even splitting) threads between sections has been unpopular in the past. If Jay also agrees the thread should move to unmoderated then that's fine, but otherwise no. P

That's called: I have nothing better to do, Silver. I'm a nut-job, officially. That you, Q? I missed you if so. Actually, I missed you regardless. You've moved slightly north I think. North-NorthEast. Jay, still got you a reply coming. Sorry to take so long. It's brewing.
