No not really. Why do people spend time working out where exactly the lower line is drawn - "Just how crappy can I be and get away with it Peter?" Why not try finding the other line?Which one? The one you recommend, un-biased as you are? The upper line of how awesomely insightful, honest and compassionate you can be before a moderator steps in and says "Sorry Sir/Madam, I'm blinded by your light and I'm going to have to insist you hide under this bushel because you're making other people feel bad." Yes I recommend people try for crossing the highest - rather than wondering how close they are to crossing the lowest - line. I wasn't sure in your earlier post, but now I'm pretty sure you're being sarcastic. What particular bias do you think I've been showing recently? I've been accused of several over the years, or more often just a vague "double standard". I note that there hasn't been a vote to get rid of me in a while, so I like to think my approval rating might have hit double digits. |

So while I agree that Alfio is being offensive - especially since I've already asked him to lay off bashing Gopal's parents spiritualteachers.proboards.com/post/356373/thread - I don't feel that he's yet crossed a line to being abusive. Still, we're about 80% of the way there now and the reported posts are still coming! If you find its not a offence then I don't understand what kind of culture you have brought up Peter. I said I agreed it was offensive. But you were also being offensive, so I didn't find you to be the injured party at that time. And then I came across further posts and Alfio got banned. So we're all clear now. |

Still, lots more reported posts to look through so there's still time yet.... someone asks you that would you have sex with your mother is not a problem for you, someone says your mother might be your older sister is not problem for you ,I said that his wife is a gay is problem for you ? Perhaps a better moderator is needed here to understand what's really going on. Gopal I would LOVE to see a better moderator deal with this forum. When you find one, please send him or her my way. You're not understanding me. It's ALL a problem for me. None of what I'm seeing here even approaches what I see as the purpose of this forum. I haven't had any reported posts to deal with in ages, and then I go away on holiday and come back to find 14 and all from this thread! It's like world war three of multilateral complaining has been going on. Thanks to Enigma for taking the role of Switzerland here. So as you probably know it takes me some time to sort the "he said" from the "she said" and I don't always pick up on the nuances, having been sunning my backside in the Bordeaux region at the time. So here goes.... EDIT: I'll work through them in the order that they were created. Pretend you never saw them pete, I won't say anything if you don't  . Unfortunately the software system itself forces me to work through a process to clear each one which takes about 5 minutes, so firing off multiple reports like "Look, here they're doing it again!" is not appreciated. |
