Is Spiritualteachers.org Discussion Boards blessed?
Since I became a member I find many are deleting themselves
saying goodbyes for no apparent reason.
Christ Jesus in Matthew 5:14-16 said," A city built on a hill
can not be hid. No one lights a lamp and puts under a bowl;
they put it on the lampstand, where it gives light to everyone
in the place. In the same way, let your light shine before
people, so they will see the good things you do and give
praise to God. "

" Even better, leave selfhood behind, and then everything that is done will be done for God. |

In The New English Bible Jesus is quoted as saying, "If anyone wishes to be a follower of mine, he must leave self behind" (in order to discover one's True Self). I suspect that the average Christian interprets this to mean that selfish tendencies should be suppressed (self should suppress self) in order to be more Christ-like, but of course the meaning is quite different and far more radical in the non-dual spiritual traditions (including Mystical Christianity). |
