I've always had respect for him and his contributions, regardless of how people misunderstood his interests and intents in promoting honesty, willingness, and unlearning/de-conditioning. As you know, there are no mistakes, and in life, nothing of true value is ever lost. Phil has always been one of life's unusual characters, and so there are potentials of hope. I loved what sN said to you. Marie is planning on treating him at home soon, and I am sure she has done a lot of research on that. Like you, Phil has been a significant part of my life. Intellectually, I didn't see eye to eye with him much, but I have deep appreciation for the energy shared between us, both on this forum and the one previously that I met him. I have arranged for him to receive qi gong healing for a month, it is my way of honoring the relationship. Having spoken with Marie briefly, I am sure she is very grateful for the generous donations from folks here. So let us stay positive and open in our hearts and minds for them. |
