No, nothing has worked so far because they are words of foolish desire, not acts of intelligence. Before fixing the world, let's deal with the messed up situation at a manageable scale: the body. Why did your body get fat and mine didn't? If we can find the cause, then we can proceed to fix the nation and the world.
Ok this is better. I mostly drifted thru life without any clear focus, food included, so I got fat. You did not get fat. Your body did. You are the self. Focus, man. This is real meditation. All that zen stuff is pure Japanese knock-offs bs made in the USA. Talk about stealing intellectual property from other countries. They steal our technology and we steal their spirituality.
Getting fat is not your personal fault anymore than it's an inner-city black kid's fault for robbing a store. It's Sunday, and sure as hell, on the local news will be reports of people getting shot and killed in the city over the weekend. It's a cultural movement. Being fat is a way of life. Even in nature, it's the same with plants and animals. But there is no disorder in nature which is flowing with spiritual energy. You won't find a fat salmon or a fat eagle. In our man-made world, there is the disorder of toxic human energy.

"Bruce Lee" is not real. That Chinese guy is not a crook, though. When asked about his martial art prowess, he did say, "don't believe what you see, believe half of what you hear, but remember, one billion Chinese can't be Wong."
I understand martial art. It's an ugly business. Still, if I were to pick a pugilist to admire, I would choose Muhammad Ali. He is the only fighter who not only had courage but could also think. He even took on the US Government and knocked that sucker out.

This idea that enlightened people are materially perfected is a fairytale for existential children. Are you making an excuse for being a loser? I can't find a loser in nature. Everything is perfect. It's people. Even when they are young and fit, they are crazy. There was a bunch of thirty something next door beating on drums and chanting. Yoga losers in Indian clothing having a garden party. It was unseemly. Woodstock nonsense, and so soon after their mother's death.
Why would a white American male dress up like a Sikh? Man bun atop his head, wearing a kurta. I know it is Sunday and he probably works from home. Is it spirituality or escapism?

It sounds like you have a 'people-problem', like you view homo sapiens as the greatest threat to our planet, which might be true in one sense, but is complete nonsense in another. You strike me as someone in a very restricted bubble who's being hurt and scared by the movie you're watching. People are fine, even the 'bad' ones. |
