The Cause
Abe: What is necessary for complete recovery, and then a sustaining of a really good-feeling body is, you've got to get to the vibrational cause. The vibrational cause of illness or imbalance - you are a magnificent being - when you don't know it, that's the cause. You are utterly worthy - when you don't know it - that's the cause. You will eternally be evolving and you will never get it done, and you will always be imperfect and incomplete and unfinished - and if that's not okay with you - then that's the cause. You are Source energy in a physical body and when you see Source as something different from you - that's the cause. You are here for the joy and the fun of being in this exhilarating life experience - and when you see it as responsibility, when you see it as something that you should do, rather than what you want to do - that's the cause. You are pure positive energy in a physical body on the leading-edge of thought and when you see yourself here needing to prove something, feeling inferior and inadequate, and feeling uncomfortable about the imperfection of your being - that's the cause. You are a lover to the core of your being - and when you see someone who makes you feel hate - that's the cause. You are a lover, not only of others, but of yourself, and when you are loving yourself, you are in alignment, but when you don't like yourself - that's the cause. You're pure positive energy, here for the joy of being here and when you are trying to justify your existence through hard work and effort - that's the cause that puts you out of whack with the eternal nature of who you are. So, we watch the little ones. They come forth, they know it. They expect things to go well for them because that's who they are. And then someone, well-meaning usually, says "Life does not revolve around you" - that's the cause. And then they say "Life is not supposed to be fun" - that’s the cause. And then they say "You're not supposed to just joyously romp through life, you've got to suffer and work hard just like the rest of us" - that's the cause. And then they say "You know, if you don't apply yourself diligently and get a job and do the things that you're supposed to do, then you will never amount to anything" - that's the cause. And then they say "As I look at you, I see that you have not amounted to anything. I've compared you with each and every other person on the planet, and I find you inferior in the following ways..." - that's the cause. But, eventually, if there are enough of them harping at you about it, in time, you can lose track of your own guidance system. And when you do - that's the cause. When you use anything outside of yourself to evaluate where you are, in relationship to yourself - that's the cause. The cause of negative emotion, the cause of frustration, the cause of not getting along with people you love, the cause of not feeling good, the cause of feeling funny in your body, the cause of things growing on your body that you don't want, the cause of car accidents - the cause of everything is about vibrational misalignment. And the good news is, none of it comes out of the blue. All of it gives you lots and lots and lots and lots of emotional warning. Not warning because it's dangerous, but warning because you want to know. You want to know the vibrational relationship between who you are and who you're letting yourself be in this moment. So, we bless the therapists. And we bless the massage artists and we bless the physicians. We bless the surgeons. We bless the pharmacists. We bless all of them that are helping you on the way, patch your body and fix your bones and bring yourself back into alignment in one way or another. But all of them are just giving you temporary triage as they're stopping the bleeding for a moment. But it is necessary that you see those as temporary fixes, while you get to the heart of the cause.

Fast Times On Planet Earth
Abe: As things come to you, you must accept that it is your expectation that is allowing that - whatever it is - into your experience here and now; because you never ever experience or attract or live anything that is not strong in your expectation. The way you are thinking your thoughts, the way you are speaking your words and even the behaviors that your are offering with your action - those things are real indicators of what you expect.
There are two ways of knowing what you are creating, what you are manifesting, what you are letting into your experience: [1] how you are feeling right now and [2] what is showing up. And until you accept that [you created all of it], you have no creative control; as long as give the credit or the blame to anyone else, then you are like a cork bopping on the sea, kind of just going wherever the waves are taking you.
There has never been a time, prior to this time, when the buffer of time, between the accomplishment of an expectation and the full-blown manifestation of it, was faster. You get what you think about, and you get what you think about faster these days than ever before. The energy is moving faster. Now why is that? Because these platforms that billions of you are standing upon are causing you to launch more rockets of desire. In other words, your demand is greater, your asking is greater - and when you ask, it is given - so the energy that creates worlds is answering that asking, and the energy is moving faster.
It's like the story that we've been telling you for a long time: if you are going five miles an hour in your car and you hit a tree, it's not a big deal; but if you are going a hundred miles an hour, it is a big deal. The faster you go, the better it is [for you] to tend to what you are doing. In these fast moving times, your ability to create magnificently is more than ever before, and your crashing and burning is stronger, too. Law of Attraction says, that which is like unto itself is drawn. So the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, and the well are weller and the sick are sicker, and the clear are more clear minded than ever before and the confused are more confused than ever before, because things are moving faster. That's why we are delighted that so many of you are participating in this co-creative leading edge experience.
Esther said to us early on, "Abraham, I do get my emotional guidance system, and appreciate it. I like knowing that the way I feel is an indicator of how in alignment I am with who I am, with what I want... and when I don't feel good, I know what that means, that I am offering resistance... maybe it would be better for me if, when I have one of those negative thoughts, one of my teeth would just fall out... that would be harder to miss, and it might make me more deliberate about the way I think.” And we said to Esther: "It would, but then you wouldn't have any teeth really early on in your game!" So we are not encouraging you to be drastic about this. Instead, we would encourage you to enjoy your guidance system, to enjoy your negative emotions - understand what they mean and don't get all crazy about this. Because that's the thing what we really want to impart to you: There is nothing serious going on here! You are not being watched, or evaluated, or judged or scored - this is all about you coming into alignment with who YOU are. And the purpose of it is for the enhancement of your experience, for the satisfaction of your experience.
Be aware of how you feel. Calibrate to the good-feeling emotions of your Inner Being. Let everybody live their own life and don’t try so hard to evaluate what they’ve got going on.
Caring about how other people are responding to you is not your job, or even any of your business. It only trains yourself and others away from your own guidance system; it doesn’t serve you and it doesn’t serve them, so we encourage you to just cut it out! Replace caring about others reactions to you on [these things] with caring about your alignment with your Inner Being about [these things].
If you could only calibrate to one emotion, the emotion we would choose, if we were standing in your physical shoes, would be the emotion of love, which is also vibrationally equivalent to the emotion of appreciation and the emotion of (feeling) blessed, [because] no matter where you are pointing your love, you are the blessed beneficiary of having focused it.
If you could do only one thing, we would do our book of positive aspects; we would focus on the positive aspects of this and that and everyone – as much as we have time and desire to do – and we would focus ourselves into a delightful, good-feeling expectation of delicious co-creating with everyone who we wrote pages and pages of positive aspects about. If you can only do one thing, do that and you will live happily ever after! If you’d just do that, every relationship will change – your relationships with others will improve, your relationship with financial abundance will improve, your relationship with your body will improve – every relationship you have with everything will improve as you write pages of things that you see as wanted, as you train your expectation to those things.

"Life is supposed to feel good. And if it doesn't - that's on you!"- Abraham-Hicks, 2021 This brings a useful question: Who's fault is it? The pupils' or the teacher's? Up to a certain number of pupils having bad results, you can blame them, but from there on it's a teacher issue. And looking around I'd say it's the teacher's. It should be easier for the teacher to adapt and improve. Also, the teacher can be changed but the pupils are a given. This quote sounds like blaming the victim. Surely, a little critique well formulated and showing the way out could help, but positive reinforcement is more effective, and feels better.

Surely, a little critique well formulated and showing the way out could help, but positive reinforcement is more effective, and feels better. I'd readily admit that this quote only will make sense from the upper half of the emotional scale (upwards of contentment/satisfaction). From the lower half of the emotional scale, it may look like a slap in the face, victim blaming, adding insult to injury etc. - I get those kind of reactions all the time. So if this quote makes you either nod in agreement or irks you in some way, you'll definitely know where you are on the scale. It's a great litmus test. So, I wouldn't recommend telling someone who just had a bad streak "You know, you are the creator of your own reality and you get what you think about. So there, get your act together and deal with it!" because that certainly won't go over well and you might end up getting punched in the face. ETA: For some weird reason people like to argue for their own limitations without noticing it by trying to explain to others why they are where they are. And so by adding more attention to their current situation, they only keep recreating those kind of situations. And so the worse it gets, the worse it gets. So this is where I see spiritual practices like meditation or yoga can help breaking the evil spell of negative momentum, by breaking that intense focus on whatever is happening around us or whatever caught our undivided attention, so that we naturally slide back into our default state, back to the here and now, the I AM, to a sense of all-is-well... and then the better it gets, the better it gets.

Seems to me it depends on what kind of pain Esther is referring to there. If we assume a certain baseline well-being: no serious chronic physical pain or other ailment like addiction, no really deep trauma, no serious present financial crises etc.. then there's a pot of gold there for the listener, for sure. The question of blaming the victim past this seems to me further situational. It all eventually leads to the existential question, and I guess it's a matter of how ready and able the listener is to take responsibility for themselves when they hear it. It can most definitely be a cruelty in some instances, no doubt.

VISIONARIES (11)
Abe: Have you ever wondered why the people that have so much do so little? And people that do so much seem to have so little? That’s wrong, isn’t it? It’s wrong, for people putting forth so much effort... And we say, they are putting forth action effort. That’s never what made anything happen. It’s the alignment of energy that makes things happen.
The dreamer will thrive under all circumstances, while the realist or the observer only thrives in good times, but he suffers in bad times. Because what he is observing, he is radiating. While the dreamer, the visionary has learned to find the thought that feels best and holds his thoughts there.
As you meet people who had outrageous success – whether be it in the arts, or theater, or business – one common denominator that you always will find is that they are obsessed with their vision and unwilling to let you discourage them. They will not even entertain a thought that is contrary to their desire. And you call them unreasonable, unrealistic and you call them obsessed. And we say, yes they are every bit of that. But our definition of ‘obsessed’ is ‘somebody who has learned to line up energy’.

Statistics
Abe: All those statistics that you are gathering and all the interfacing that everybody is doing is just the result of how somebody else is flowing energy. Why do you want to statistisize, why would you want to keep statistics about how others are flowing energy when the way they flow energy has nothing to do with you? Why would you want to bog your life down by keeping records about how everybody is doing everything and how it is all interrelating with everything when none of it has anything to do with you? The only thing that affects your experience is the way you are flowing your energy. And you can feel in every moment how that’s happening.

Now!
Abe: All of your power is now! Now – this is your point of attraction. Here you are, and everything is actualizing around you now. So your future experience that you are going to walk into is actually lining up in response to your vibrational output now. So as you are ornery and upset or in despair – your future experience is lining up in response to that, now.
So you say: “But I have good reason!”
And we say: “Who cares?”
And you say: “But I have good reason to feel this way!”
And we say: “It doesn’t matter, you are still messing up your future experience!”
“But Abraham, I know I’m right! This is the way it is, I am only speaking the truth! ”
“We know, and your future is going to be full of it! Your future is going to full of this truth that you are feeling uncomfortable about now!”
So, all of your power is now. Think about what you are doing to tomorrow when you feel good now! Think about what you are doing to the day after tomorrow while you are feeling good now! Can you imagine the resources that you allow to line up when you take the time to feel good now? When you get in sync with well-being now?
All of your power is now. It doesn’t matter if you are thinking about the past or your future, or observe something in your now – you are doing it now! You are emanating now, you are radiating now, you are creating now.

Fun vs. Purpose
Q: Is life just about following fun and joy or are we supposed to fulfill a certain purpose, to leave a legacy? I have so many talents and gifts, but instead of doing something huge I prefer to do small things and always just have fun along the way.
Abe: We are going to put these words into a little different pattern for you. We want to say to you that if you follow fun and joy, if that matters most to you, then you’ll be in alignment with guidance that will lead you to every intention that you had when you came into this physical body. And every legacy or purpose will be fulfilled. They are not opposites of each other. It’s not fun or purpose. It’s that purpose is fun. But it’s also that there are some ways that are more fun leading to your purpose.

Pipeline Analogy
Abe: The Nonphysical, which created the physical, envisioned a physical environment. If you are physically focused and not consciously aligning with the energy that is your source, you cannot deliberately create anything. So what happens is, the nonphysical energy created you. Now you exist, and now you seek the nonphysical energy that created you, and then you flow it on. The best way of understanding this is, as you see this nonphysical energy, see it as a sort of pipeline, a pipeline that sustains the physical environment. Everything that you see is fed through this nonphysical energy pipeline. And the energy is pure positive energy. It is life force. It is well-being.
There is not a stream of wellness and a stream of illness, and as physical creatures you get to choose which one you get into. There is one stream, a stream of well-being. And as a physical being, whether you’re a rock, or a squirrel, or a turtle or a human, or a tree, you can receive or allow the Energy, in which case you thrive, or you can vibrationally disallow it, in which case you don’t thrive.
In other words, illness, from the nonphysical perspective, does not really exist. Illness is only what happens when you pinch off wellness. Illness is what happens when vibrationally, for whatever reason, you disallow wellness in the same way that there is not light and dark, or a source of light and a source of darkness. There is light or absence of it. There is wellness or absence of it. There is abundance or absence of it.
So here is this nonphysical stream of energy. It flows forth eternally, and continually, and consistently into your physical environment. As you are focused over here and you are appreciating something, basking, applauding, acknowledging value... the pure energy flows, you feel great. In fact you thrive, and whatever is your object of attention receives a strong dose of nonphysical energy, and it thrives too. But let’s say because of influence of others or old habits, or responding to a condition, you focus at something lackful. You’re blaming, or criticizing, you’re finding fault. Well, then what happens? It does not allow the energy through. And the way you feel is negative emotion, whether you call it fear, or anger, or discouragement, or... Doesn’t matter what you call it. What you’re feeling is what it feels like when you disallow that which is natural unto you.
As you look around at your society, there is a lot of evidence of all of it. Your society has sickness because many disallow wellness. And the way they disallow it is by looking at lack. You don’t have to think about cancer to get cancer. You just have to focus upon enough things that don’t let the energy flow, and in time, your body stops thriving.

You don’t have to think about cancer to get cancer. You just have to focus upon enough things that don’t let the energy flow, and in time, your body stops thriving. Abraham-Hicks, 1994 The body of humanity is not thriving. Collectively, we are not allowing wellness. And yet, we all want wellness. Can you explain that? Welcome to the forum! I don't think that's actually true. That's the impression you may get from the media though. If you look at young people for example, they are mostly in love with life most of the time and the little ones basically all the time. And 1/3 of world population is under 20! That's a huge number that is definitely thriving. If then add all the people who just had a delicious meal, a pleasant conversation, played happily with their child, pet or mate then that number of people that are thriving, at least momentarily, will be even larger. As A-H keep pointing out, the downward spiral starts with not caring enough how we feel and not being determined enough to feel good no matter what. This is an attraction based universe. The way we feel indicates our point of attraction. And our point of attraction will determine what kind of experience we draw into our field of awareness, what kind of experience we are going to live. But instead of asking ourselves how we want to feel today and then making to-feel lists so that we attract experiences that match that sort of feeling or state of being, we rather ask what we have to do today and then make to-do lists so that we can get what we want which will then give us the feeling state we ultimately desire. But since what we attract into our experience is a direct reflection of our point of attraction, which is our state of being, which is indicated by how we feel, this action orientation usually doesn't serve us well, because it is backwards. Even the most perfect action offered from a point of attraction of lack can only create more lack. No amount of action can change that. So when people get older, they start to realize that their actions don't seem to matter that much. The game seems rigged, fate seems against them. So instead of realizing that they just went about it the wrong way, they give up their desires and become bitter because that approach to life is just not working out too well. Now, I have to admit, this sounds all good in theory but actually living it can be quite a challenge in the beginning because this goes against everything we've been taught and also against what everyone else is doing, even the famous and successful ones. But LOA in combination with your inner guidance system, once you've understood it, is your best friend. It is consistent and never fails you. It may break some of your self-delusions from time to time, like when you think you are long past certain feeling states and suddenly a series of manifestations shows you that the exact opposite is true, but that can be fun too, once you know what that means and how to deal with it. It's all a matter of perspective after all.

Focus where you are NOW
Abe: What we want you to begin to realize is that your job, your work, what you are all about is the hands-on molding of the clay part of your life experience, is focusing. That’s how you create. You create thru your focus. So we would never again spend any time pondering an unpleasant thought. We would not watch the news. We would not stick our nose in the business of others. We would not try to understand what we cannot understand. We would not try to understand what is happening in another country now and we would not try to understand what happened in another country a hundred years ago, or two hundred years ago, or two thousand years ago. We would give our full attention to where we are now and we would mine our present experience for good-feeling thoughts and we would live happily ever after.
