I only respect Prabupad as a sanscrit scholar. Not as a ..... (you name it). That means: I respect him ONLY as a (mere) translater. Prabhupad was a drug rep. He left his wife and took sanyasa when the latter sold the former`s Back to Godhead manuscripts for tea. he was instructed by his Guru Bhaktisiddhanta Saravasti Maharaja to spread Krishna consciousness to the west. So he complied. I only knew Prabhupad from his books ( Vani Guru ). Prabhupad and I became intimate when he communicated in my dreams. Whenever I think of Prabhupad sometimes my eyes slowly become wet. There`s this feeling of knowing him quite well. I can immediately see his features when I think of him. Just like I can readily envision the Sr Sto Nino/picture of Balarama/Krishna every time I focus my mind on Them. To me Prabhupad is not merely a translator but a dear close friend. |

What I do not like of Awakesowhat is he vented his anger ( child abuse cases/pedophilia ) on me when it is suppose to be vented on these Krishna diksa gurus who committed the dastardly acts. He thinks I am one of them. He is completely wrong about me. Just because I showed him that picture of a guy wearing briefs with a bulge. But that was part of the thread on sex I opened. When it comes to the human parts I have no malice because I am a physician. I can not recall how many times I delivered babies or performed D&C on patients with abortions. Or examined the different genitalia of men who have herpes/chancres/etc. I am privy also to what`s going in the Catholic Church of priests/bishops committing child abuses/rape/pedophilia. But these are isolated cases. You mean to say if I am a Krishna advocate or a devout Catholic I also commit these abuses? These are crimes. There are criminals in the ashrams, the temples, the mosques. We can not avoid that. I have no criminal record. Nor I engage in perverse acts. With regards to that blow job thing inside the spa with a massage therapist maybe its true or not. There are things left unsaid and Awakesowhat just blew it up because of his hatred for me/Krishna consciousness. Do you think he`s a decent guy? Many are wolves in sheep`s clothing and I believe Awakesowhat is one of them. |

2.) This isn't an ISKON promotion forum. If you take a look at my threads it is not promoting ISKCON. These are Prabhupad quotes. So what`s wrong with that?
3.) Awakesowhat can post as many critical stuff about what you post here as he wishes. If Awakesowhat wants to post critical stuff in my threads are post not deriding my person/others who he claims to be perverts/child abusers/pedophiles.

You say the whole group should take the rap for abuse. So how about a non dual teacher abusing a student. Do you now dismiss non duality as well as ISKON on that basis? There's criticising because we just don't like something and there's criticising by engaging with the subject. You know as well as I do that both bhakti and jnani are both equal and valid paths. Non dualists masters like Ramana Maharshi said this. It is a fact that generally speaking western non dualists don't feel comfortable with devotion as many have come to it through rejection of Christian devotional dualism. But all the great non dual masters you will find are deeply devotional as well. |

You might want to go to the Rick Ross' cult education forum to get an idea of what I'm talking about. This is discussion forum about spiritual topic. And a CRITIQUE of a particular "spiritual" cult is a different aspect of discussing a topic. If you want to promote your own cult, based on Prapupads "teacherings" you will have to promote your cult in the promotion section and not up here. Promotion: Advertising a product by over emphezing its qualities. Discussion: Talking about different aspects of a particular topic. You are confused about the purpose of the discussion board, K.
