A bit of fun inspired by cg's dog tales.
I have to creep out before the sun and silence the rooster before he starts screaming insanities even this message board won't repeat his vulgarities

tonight I saw you in your knickers with your knockers in a bra wearing boots, looking for a sweater to cover the bra that covers your knockers that I want to see I watched as you looked and longed to look a bit myself but the children are awake and you must get to work but I will take all the stares you receive today and breathe life into them tonight... charlie giardino 11/19/77

well alright
Saturday morning, late May double parked on 136th street in Queens, Lightnin' Hopkins on the radio... rain falling softly cars going where cars go on Saturday mornings parents with children in tow walking down this almost quiet street and I notice, don't know why that everything is alright

shadow world
I have told you of my darkness let me tell you of my light allow me to rephrase that it's not exactly right
the darkness was all mine a lesser way of seeing until his light descended and changed my way of being
the misery I perceived the pain to which I clung was just another hanger on which my soul was hung
and in the dark night streaming his love bequeath to me everything is his everything is free
grace extends to all his gift to all who live as we have been forgiven so we must forgive
the darkness, for a season brings shadow in its wake the light peeks out behind it go look, for heaven's sake

amor, my love
I've always been a lover that hasn't always played out too well in real life... but I've changed and think I can give it another go I mean this love has to be released if it doesn't, it'll build up and implode and Ill die of a happy broken heart
win, win... no?

October Friday's sun splashes warmth onto waiting ground falling leaves spiral in morning light... squirrels frolic chasing one another through Autumn grass just another day... for love's designs charlie giardino 10/26/12 Loves designs reveal themselves In turns that always surprise Across the sky Across your tongue By the light within your eye Even a sting That snaps you awake That seizes you here and now Even in pain Even in loss To love we all must bow In those eyes That aren’t your own In those eyes That are not known The silent embrace of the stranger Find loves light in repose A sunny Friday brings to the fore The joy of life indeed Falls anticipation Colorful expectation … but relaxed without a heed Take this love and know its yours There is no price to pay It can’t be stored or locked away To be repaid someday It has no price, there is no cost It’s ever all around Just hush the mind and open up Love is every sound

this is not a poem
this is not a poem it's a drizzle of emotions a torrent of love... an explosion of thought a satchel of dreams a bundle of blessings a merciful mix of merriment a lasso of laughter a thunder of tears a sea of smiles a sky full of peace a waterfall of whimsey a harem of hugs a karton of kisses a string of syllables a run of reverence a handle on holiness a smattering of saints an anthology of angels this is not a poem.......

Though the non-poem is of multi-verse The contagion of the poets glee Has welled up inside of not-me To walk, to hear, to feel to see Too low the bar to only know A turn a twist of ways to say There is no price to love today Yes Charlie Giardino ... in direct, 180 degree contrast to the politician, the poet has unlimited license to state the obvious ... to state what is ...
