How does one no longer want to hold the struggle, projection and grand stories close? I seem to want to let them go, but apparently I don't really.  Same way you no longer want anything else. You either grow tired of it or notice that the reason you wanted it in the first place was based on confusion to begin with. Make no mistake, you find tremendous value and truth in your own delusions. There's always that one person who deserves to be judged. That one last thing to figure out. The enjoyment of struggling to the point where your identity is formed around the struggle itself. The gittyness of feeling like 'getting it' is just around the corner. Letting go is as natural as it gets and ironically it's also what it's all about. Everyone in their own way is asking others how to let go. Different words, same question. Just be honest with yourself and have the courage to face whatever arises. Ha - one last thing to figure out. Yes, of course - I resemble that remark ;D No magic wand, eh? Darn. |

that's what i thought at first too. like the cool cabal. Steven sees e&e as a little tough-guy clique with some other hangers-on pickin on the little unenlightened kids and strangers in town. Steven is cleaning house, exposing light on the ruffians, riding a white horse (stance).
but then he would have had "in a" in front of "cool cobble" -- so me thinks this is some idiom. no big deal.
