1. ZD: Attend 2. Enigma: Notice 3. Exactamente: Watch Watch??? No, no, no! I don't use the word 'watch' for a reason. Firstly, I don't have one, secondly 'watch' sounds like 'vigilant' and then I smell a doer lurking around somewhere... Seeing is the word!

What if both the teacher and the seeker are being chased by a hungry tiger? What advice would you give? Follow the butterfly!

It's short and sweet, but probly not very satisfying to most.

LOL in-different is where it's at baby. NBish the near-enemy of equanimity is indifference. Ouch don't tell my Vipassana teacher. He loves that word. I still say it's good to be in-difference, but you really need to know me to know what I mean ;D NBisH

You know Ram Das said it well Be Here Now[/size]. The Now is a funny thing for me or was a funny thing now it's just Now. When I was a young lad I spent time in India. It was when I was into Babaji Kryia Yoga that kind of stuff. I was in the foothills of the Himalayas. I connected with one of the followers who showed me the cave that supposedly Babaji meditated and where Lahari met Babaji. So I was invited to spend some cave time. The cave was not really the dry but was really dark as you went in. What happens is when you are in complete darkness for hours and hours the sense of time completely goes away. This experience really brings in the Now. Give it a try sometime bring in some water mixed with honey and stay in a dark blacked out space for 24 hrs and see what happens. It brings in the Now for you. NBisH[/i]

Trying to look hinders the looking that already is. But, I tend to forget. I remember once I wear myself out. All that vigilance can be exhausting!

It's not the same as being completely indifferent, huh?

Seeing is the word! Doesn't the very trying to notice/attend/witness/see preclude one even seeing anything? That's what seems to happen with me--if I 'try' to 'see' anything, forget it. But when I go into awareness, I end up 'seeing' more than I ever thought I could.

Interesting I know it's hard with words but what is it that you are seeing? It's probably more like a feeling but I don't want to put ideas in your head. Oops just did but seriously can you say more about this. Thks NBisH
