Ever had a little flash of insight from "unintentionally" spiritual material. I was sitting this morning when out of nowhere I recalled (in Borg voice, but kind of dalek-y as well) ".. Resistance is futile... " Heh heh Indeed it is

Resistance is futile... " Heh heh Indeed it is Yeah, it's funny how much of this we can start to notice and some of that noticing might be our projection. In some other instances it's obviously deliberate on the part of the artists: this movie is a good example of that. In still others it seems as though what nonduality points toward just sort of peeks through in unconscious expression.

under pains and penalties of perjury do you solemnly swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?

United States, 406 U.S. 441 (1972), was a Supreme Court decision that ruled on the issue of whether the government's grant of immunity from prosecution can compel a witness to testify over his assertion of the Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination. In a 5-2 decision (Justices Brennan and Rehnquist took no part in the consideration of the case), the Court held that the government can overcome a claim of Fifth Amendment privilege by granting a witness "use and derivative use" immunity in exchange for his testimony.

And I'm seeing quite a lot of of resisting at the moment,... some subtle and some completely over the top. I got this Adyashanti quote in my facebook feed today and was reminded of the Borg quote in my original post in this thread. Far as I can tell, I've just got to cop it If I notice I'm being resistant to something, there is no point resisting the resistance...

Surrender is pretty d@mn all encompassing.

I keep finding these pockets of battle and seeing how I'm creating the object of the struggle (the 'Issue') with the struggle itself. Each time, a little more letting-go happens automagically. Until the next pocket shows up. The only good news in all that is that it's happening less and less. You hear about these disciples that see a flower and are suddenly enlightened. I seem to be a bit more dense than that. Or stubborn.
