If you couldn't prove resurrection did not happen, then why the hell are you talking something like 'Nothing is resurrected. It's a metaphor.' ? Or Do you even open this thread to talk about that? You do not know the certainty, right? I thought you had a strong interest in logic. Do you understand it's not possible to prove a negative? (i.e. there are no unicorns) If you couldn't prove negative or something like that, then you can't assume something is true and continue your rest of the argument from that premise.

Never did that in this thread dude.

No, but you could offer an opinion.

I've posted this twice in the past few weeks, each time buried deep in MT. If you want to feel the resurrection, then take a deep breath, clear your mind, and let your body catch the emotions of this song. So what I've learned from Sundays with the Catholics is that the mass follows a sort of narrative that reflects Christ's story. It flows from references to his evangelizing through to his miracles of healing onto singing "Hosannah!" as he entered Jerusalem. The congregation actively participates with this flow by way of the catechism. Of course, it ends with the ritual reenactment of the last supper. While I'd always known about communion, it's been interesting connecting all the dots. This structure repeats itself in a sense with the annual liturgical cycle, with Easter as the most important event on the calendar. They refer to it as "holy week", and plan a total of five different services over the four day period starting from Thursday through Sunday. Pew peeps be serious!
