Greetings.. Yes.. there came to me a realization, that 'God' is Life, and Life is 'God'.. the gratitude and thankfulness for the release of previous struggles with imagery about 'God' is intense, and.. the 'homecoming' with that realization revealed a peace that constantly manifests itself in the experience of living Life.. and, that's a 'drop me to my knees' weep with thankfulness realization.. each day, each moment, is a celebration of gratitude for Life and the experience of living it.. Be well.. be thankful..

Yes. I often silently say to God/Reality/Isness "Thank you for everything. Thank you for this incredible world, for all of the experiences I've had (both good and bad), for all of the interesting people I've known, for the happiness and joy of meeting soulmates, for shared love, for children (my own and others), for parents and friends, for laughter and tears, for all of the strange and wonderful creatures that share the planet with us, for flowers, trees, mountain canyons, waterfalls, clouds, stars, storms, oceans, and a body/mind that senses all of this." I have even thanked God for a reality that includes a stock market (one of many passions), McDonald's coffee and the people who serve it to me, fossils of ancient creatures (which I love to hunt for), and a skybar in Asheville from which spectacular sunsets can be viewed. When I am asked to say a prayer prior to a meal, I always include, "...we give thanks for the gift of life and consciousness...." and I always end the prayer by saying, "We pray these things to the infinite One in whom we live and breathe and have our being." For me, Thanksgiving is every day of the year.

Ever feel thankfulness for life? Appreciation and thankfulness for Life Happens... And in the next moment ungratefulness and dissatisfaction for Life Happens... So rides the illusion of me on the roller coaster of duality... Life is an amusement park and house of horrors with no real visitors...

Ever feel thankfulness for life? Sometimes it rolls around for me. I feel thankful for being alive and being able to fuss about everything not being perfect and prefect too. It's my addiction I guess. thanks for starting the thread Joe

Be well.. be thankful.. Yep.....I've had a really blessed life, but the greatest gift is opening my heart to God....I was always in a kind of Spirituality Limbo regarding God....then one day I just looked around at the WONDER and accepted it as God....I thank God everyday for that and for all this now, in the sincerest deepest gratitude....I don't thank God out of obligation, I thank God out of WONDER in the Grace. The Grace, The Wonder, and the Glory of all this and this moment. Thank you God.

Life is an amusement park and house of horrors with no real visitors... Yeah, it's the two ended stick. the ego always is on the right end of the stick.
