I think that depends on who it is that wants to get enlightened (Iow, how good a student they are or how fast a learner they are). Unless it's not true. You're poking around in the wrong place -- I hear tell it's an internal thing.

You're poking around in the wrong place -- I hear tell it's an internal thing. Apparently nobody wants to get enlightened. But enlightenment wants to happen? Where is the best place to poke? I just said that it's an internal thing -- examine your thoughts, feelings, that sort of thing, I guess. Right? Does that sound right? Like Yoda said: Go with your feelings. Is that what he said?

Don't know what Yoda said. Are you enlightened? I took some sort of quiz yesterday on blogthings and it said that I was.

I took some sort of quiz yesterday on blogthings and it said that I was. I'm not sure if anyone broke you down because under your picture it says, "In the beginning there was nothing, and then it exploded."
I'm not so sure that's true. That saying is a joke, about how the world/universe started? I think it's hilarious but has nothing to do whether I'm enlightened or whatever. You're not so sure what's true? I've been broken down by so many people in life that it's gone from not funny to funny to downright hilarious.

Don't know what Yoda said. Are you enlightened? I took some sort of quiz yesterday on blogthings and it said that I was. This is the best news I've heard all day. CONGRATULATIONS!! You go girl! Now, would you attribute enlightenment to this forum or something else?

I've been broken down by so many people in life that it's gone from not funny to funny to downright hilarious. I feel sooo sorry for you. No, I'm not sure what is true. But I can make up arbitrary positions that seem safe. I don't know why you feel sorry for me. I'm enlightened! taadaaah~* I don't know what your 2nd line means.

I don't know why you feel sorry for me. I'm enlightened! taadaaah~* I don't know what your 2nd line means. It means I can safely say GREED is bad. What does that have to do with what we're talking about?

I took some sort of quiz yesterday on blogthings and it said that I was. Where can I take the test? It's called blogthings, but the trouble is you won't be able to just go right to the quiz because I can't remember the name of it and they have thousands of quizzes. It's not directly about enlightenment. I wish I could help you more, but you could get lucky. Just google enlightenment - as if you haven't done it already.

What does that have to do with what we're talking about? I don't know I hope God lets crazy people get enlightened. Ahh, you know what they say about stuff like this: It's a fine line.

Ahh, you know what they say about stuff like this: It's a fine line. See, the teachers are suppose to break me down but it seems I break them down. What "fine line?" Oooh, you know. How people say there's a fine line between insanity and genius and stuff like that, cmon get on the trolley!

Sometimes I think I'm using the forum as a distraction. So I'm not sure it's a good place. But then I do hope someone says just the right thing that "enlighteneds me" That's a special type of Hell that I think I've toured extensively. Thanks for putting it in words. Freejoy you're great strength is your lack of filter. It's probably also a weakness right?

Yeah, I think we all do that! Hope is for chumps. I'd a thought you were old enough to know that without any special lessons. How many real life stories have we heard (and I've heard a lot of them) about a man and wife trying to get pregnant and when they give up (and relax a little), voila! It finally happens. (There's a parallel in there.) I know about hope. I try not to hope for much but it happens. You can't say "relax" because you don't know if enough quantum thought possibilities have been emitted. haha One might "relax" then just be relaxed. Then seeking stops and nothing happens. like someone might seek enlightenment one minute and someone says "relax" but they haven't put out enough thoughts yet. Sort of... Heeheeh, sometimes it pays to ignore certain thoughts and feelings. Iow, quit while you're ahead. I KNOW I've read in here somewhere that the moment you stop seeking is when IT happens. Like wow, man.

I think I have to wait until the conditions for enlightenment become favorable and who knows what those conditions are. Hmm...It sounds like you know you're deliberately asking for the impossible (sounds familiar). *shrug*

Besides, how can you become enlightened without a proper avatar?

Is this forum an optimal place to get enlightened? It has slightly more chance that youtube videos and reposted book material.
