Is this forum an optimal place to get enlightened? It has slightly more chance that youtube videos and reposted book material. Question: Is it really possible to become or to gain enlightenment ? Has there been anyone who has become enlightened or awakend through coming to Satsang and if so, could you say who ? Mooji: In truth it is not possible to become enlightened as you put it because no one is there as such to become enlightened in the first place. The firm recognition or realization that there isn't a 'somebody' in reality to gain enlightenment, and that there can never be an entity at any time, either now or in the future, to gain any such state, is what amounts to enlightenment.

I take the word enlightenment with a very large pinch of salt. it's the plaything of the spiritually interested. But, learning is at its best through play.

So according to Mooji, there is no one there to become enlightened, but according to you there is some one there that learns through play? Who is Mooji? But basically, yes, there is a person that learns through play ... it walks, it talks, it writes...

Budda set under a tree meditating . That was around 2500 years before this thing we call the internet . I can only guess what Budda would do if he were doing his thing today . He might set up a web site telling each of his followers to go set under a tree .

The paradox is there is nobody who wakes up...

Tell me, how does one nobody that doesn't see persons come to use the name of a nobody that doesn't see persons, but happens to have been named Mooji

He may of chose to reincarnate, but I would have thought he had blanced his karma 2500 years ago, and would not need to come back as a human . en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddah

What is actually known about Bhudda are thoughts and stories....yes?

I think a forum might help if the right people come around and share their experiences. But it all depends upon the person and how much work they are willing to do on themselves. I know a lot of people who have been popped open early on in their journey, just to get a good taste of being awakened. It is like the spirits are showing people what it is that they are going to be working towards. In the end you are only going to get out of your spirit work what you are willing to put in to it. The spirits are there, but they are not going to be able to do much for us if we are not willing to do our part.
