Is there anything wrong with TMT? Should someone who catches themselves at it feel somehow lesser because of it? TMT Ha ha! Actually, that makes the point in a far more humorous manner. Thinking, per se, is not necessarily a problem. My point was that TOO much thinking leads to a kind of internal psychological spinning that obscures the obvious. The admonition, "Stop and be still," is directed to people who want to find the truth. The truth is always here and now, but it usually goes unseen, concealed by an internal dialogue that verbally/discursively oscillates between an imaginary past and an imaginary future.

Apologies for my ignorance of forum speak - what is TMT please? Too much thinking. If we become silent/still and just look at the world without reflection, the mind/intellect ceases to churn, and clarity ensues. It's like a glass of muddy water; if it is constantly stirred up, it remains murky and clouded. If we stop stirring it, the water becomes clear (imagination cease to obscure the obvious). Thank you for explaining. It was a misplaced judgement/perception on your part though. There was very little thinking went into the reply.

What is there, before 'I Am'? Just "Am"?
