I will speculate that angels are souls that can(an have done so after death)slipped into the real-world as subtle bodies made of the same substance that we create our conditioned minds out of, after we have been born into the real world. Angels could be the concious-dreamer who is at first 'asleep' dreaming an who awakens without awakening their sleeping body an finds themselves able to create, what ever they please. There's no such thing as a soul. Soul is just a creative way for the ego-self to hang on to an identity that persists even after death. That doesn't rule out angels. Angels may be tuplas, thoughtforms created by consensus belief. I was reading this thread yesterday, it's pretty interesting: www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread963795/pg1

Such Love and Compassion, you are a shining example of what Humans should be! I think alfio is the kind who doesn't take the negative thing q says about him seriously. I think we're all angels - it just depends on the situation. It touches my heart to tears when q speaks with great compassion for the masses under the feet of the powers that be and stuff like that, for example. Or when you helped me out in the bp thread. My favorite angel encounter story in the media is when the woman was walking down a dangerous street at night and there were a couple of guys hanging out that could have attacked her (they were later arrested for attacking someone else around that time) but when interviewed by the authorities, they mentioned this woman who was accompanied by two big guys one on either side of her - she said she was with no one that night... My mother has similar stories when she was living in the foothills of Lebanon. One person rescued her from drowning, but turned around and couldn't find him. She feels she was rescued from a situation which might have lead to rape due to some people who walked up behind her (inferred from the reaction of the people she was facing) but found no one upon turning around. Those are her experiences. While it doesn't seem to be overtly a part of my life, I know several people who talk to and engage spirits, angelic presences, etc. It's a bit arrogant to call someone brain damaged for having experiences you don't have. Wonder where the compassion went.

I can definitely get on board with that one. A manifestation of need in the moment.

I think it's cool that he's being himself - like you used to tell me it's just words on a page, and I don't think alfio's the type to be cut to the quick by q's cranky moods.

If we're living in an imperfect world, it doesn't mean - doesn't rule out anything - even angels - guardian angels, whatever kind of angels - it's been perceived somewhere way back in time that they 'exist' - nobody can rule them out. It doesn't sit well with me that life is unfair, fyi. I came to accept it at an early age, but I still get upset at it. We can't know the answers - if there are any. But I still believe in love and I don't even understand why.

Instead of helping some insignificant woman not to drown, or some insignificant woman not to be beaten up by thugs, why not go have a talk with the world leaders, wouldn't that help a whole lot more people... like millions of them? You see, the whole thing just doesn't make any sense.

I accepted life's horrible inconsistencies / fickleness long ago - Just maybe there's a connection between our thoughts, 'vibes' and our consistencies or lack thereof and any invisible 'powers' such as angels, etc. - it very well could be dumb luck that some people (who aren't super-rich/powerful) have it good sometimes. It pays to gamble, I guess.
