Which post is 'this' post, exactly? This is where the term, 'this very post' works well, if that is what you're indicating. And, of course I'm talking to you (meaning, you, Enigma) who else would I be talking to? No one else is quoted, here. See, in Top's earlier post, the one which prompted my original question to him, I was quoted, as well as Reefs, which left some room for doubt as to whom tops was addressing. Happily, he clarified that. To you this should be obvious, but it's possible you've been doing a lot of lacquer work, lately, so I can let you slide. This is what Top posted: To which you asked who he was referring to with 'you'. There was no mention of Reefs in that post or anyone else. It was a conversation with Silver. No. I can't believe I'm even responding to your obvious misunderstanding, but if you look (I'd link you, if I could), you'll see that top was responding to Silver's response to Reefs' response to me. I will correct myself that I was actually quoted. I wasn't. But with all the quoting (in which mine was the original quote), the term 'you' can mean just about anyone. Thus my question. In fact, whenever the term 'you' is used, it can mean A) you, B) me, or C) anyone, which would, in itself, justify the question.

Guess not. Chalk up another E team member who doesn't like answering questions. So much for sincerity.

Would there be anything wrong with that? Nope. Don't let me spoil your psychoanalytical fun. (But if I end up in Psychology Today, I'd like some of the proceeds, thanks) Is there a special psychoanalytical reason for your invisibility?

That's the problemo here. Assuming alliances and such. That's actually just a dig.

Isn't it in the nature of internet forums, that posters are invisible? I've certainly never seen anyone here.

That's actually just a dig. So, you mean, there really IS a club? <--- I'd rather this be an eel smiley, but such is no longer an option.

Isn't it in the nature of internet forums, that posters are invisible? I've certainly never seen anyone here. Seems you've made reference before to folks being visible on the forum or not... I can honestly say, it's something I've never paid any attention to...I"m not even really sure how all that gets turned on & turned off. What does it matter if someone is visible or not?...I don't get the relevance. why do you care? You seem to assume that because you are aware of that whole thing, (visible on forum, vs. not) that B is too. Not everyone is concerned with such things. It's quite possible B doesn't even realize he can change those settings.

When someone says I'm 'invisible', without some kind of qualification, my literal mind naturally thinks that I'm being told that I'm literally invisible. Yeah, I'm sure I hit that button at some point. Figgered it didn't really matter if peeps saw me on the forum or not, so I hit the invisible button. I can change that, if people want to complain about it (once I find out where it is, again). Otherwise, I don't pay much attention to who is/isn't on the boards, myself.
