Holy shyte, is that for real, sq?! It's just numbers that look good when they are repeated. It's all just numbers because we may live in a simulated universe, a computer program... and if you start seeing the number "117" frequently it's a sign the program is about to reboot.

edition.cnn.com/2013/09/03/world/meast/mediterranean-missile/index.html?hpt=hp_t1We already knew that USA wants a war, but now we also know for sure that Israel wants one. Everyone's finger is on the trigger. If they're going to fire missiles in this region then they have to announce it to everyone because otherwise an incident like that could easily escalate the situation... unless of course an escalation is exactly what they desire.

I still claim that this is a proxy war against Iran. And a war against Iran would be a proxy war against Russia. The important thing is not to control Syria and Iran, the important thing is to remove allies from Russia one by one. Russia has a gigantic uncontrollable border in the south, they need Iran as a stabilizing factor for Islam otherwise the former Islamic satellite states Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kirgistan, Turkmenistan can easily be overrun and then Russia would be finished. Do you have any links to this analysis? It seems clear this is about control of the region, but I'd like to look at the issue more in depth. On the face of it, no one over here is buying the humanitarian claims. It's really laughable. Now Obama and crew are hoping they'll get a bunch of GOP hawks to help frame the debate. Either we do a targeted bombing or invade. Oh please, just do the bombing!

Lots of people are "buying the humanitarian claims", and if this isn't about humanitarian issues, it should be.. humanitarian issues are the only valid reasons for armed aggression between adversaries of any orientation, to prevent or relieve abuse and oppression.. cooperation is more beneficial than conflict.. Be well..

Be well.. Well humanitarian issues are the best argument. But that doesn't mean that's what the motivation is. And I see much more skepticism around the why the US would be involved. If they really wanted to make a humanitarian claim I'd want to see them frame this in US history, use of depleted uranium, cluster bombs, allying with Hussein during his chemical warfare attacks, Agent Orange, nuke bombs. Put it in context and frame it as a new era going forward where the US actually is motivated on a humanitarian basis, don't ignore that facts of history. That's not going to happen because there is no responsibility. This is not about humanitarian issues.

Wow, what a beautiful move! www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-09-09/russia-launches-new-surprising-strategy-appeasementRemember that today Kerry said that the only chance for Syria to escape a US attack is to hand over all its chemical weapons within a week. Two hours later he said it was just a rhetorical suggestion. Obviously he spoke before thinking it through. Same as with the "unbelievably small, limited kind of effort" blunder.

It's all so embarrassing. I just hope more people don't get killed as a result of these games. And I know that hope is futile.
