Okay, just reread the post about the plant. I feel it was more like turning the knob on another door and peeking in than an assumption. Long live the singular multiplicity as chicken. I'll mention your answer about the male ladybug to the mayfly. I hope I'm not too late. They only have a lifespan of 24 hours, and sometimes it rains. The little bugger looks like he knows how to throw down, too.

Now, that was an assumption. You know, that the throwing down mayfly is a he. I didn't actually get down on my hands and knees to look. Mostly cuz I wouldn't know where to look, especially without my reading glasses on, and even then... I mean, now... OY! I probably could have just asked.

imagine the reincarnation cycle of the mayfly, yet each cycle a lifetime. again, meaningless to the mayfly.
the male ladybug, however, is waiting to dance if only someone will ask.

imagine the reincarnation cycle of the mayfly, yet each cycle a lifetime. again, meaningless to the mayfly. We don't really know if it's meaningless or not. If you or I step on an ant, accidentally, realize it, and lift our foot up, is it not struggling to maintain antness? I have to go to bed. the little guru cats who allow us to live with them are early risers. I'm danced out, and enjoyed our exchanges. Thank you. When I close my eyes, I'm going to ask, "Now, did Klaus dream me, or did I dream, Klaus?" The little gurus will have the answer for me, around 4:30ish a.m. They'll respond in unison, "All you have to do to remember is forget. Now open the door...." Have a good night.
