If you think you've found the Buddha on the road, you should poke yourself... ;D Where else would buddha be?

If you think you've found the Buddha on the road, you should poke yourself... ;D Where else would buddha be? Is believing the " thought" you've found the Buddha the same as " finding" the Buddha? And do you believe the ' thought' the Buddha is " only" in you? In all this 'believing', where are "YOU"?

What can be found can be lost. Buddha never was.

My understanding is that "The Buddha" is the same as saying "The Tao", so "the Buddha that can be spoken is not the Buddha", and "if you meet the Tao on the street, kill it". (Or poke it)

Definitely poke it first. Make sure it's not already dead.

Definitely poke it first. Make sure it's not already dead. Hahaha.... If it looks like a snake (Buddha) on the road and you poke it... ...you are who "YOU" really are. If it turns into a rope (the thought of Buddha), you should poke yourself...

I don't know man. I poke everything first just to make sure. Gets me some weird looks sometimes, but hey, you can never be too cautious

I'm sittin here at my desk poking keys with my one ended fingers. Yes...."YOU" are.... And in this perfection that your are, sittin and pokin keys at your desk, what form does the Buddha take for you? If it does... Can it form as anything other than as a ' thought'? Someone told you the 'Buddha' is in you and now you 'believe' that 'thought'... So where is the Buddha 'now'? In this moment of sittin and pokin?
