Anyone want to talk about manifestations? Had a few thoughts/imaginings appearing in my reality lately and I like it.

Ha ha ha just read the last post on 'not happy' thread, I honestly haven't been reading for the last day or so...so am I narcisstic? (Am not even sure I know exactly what that means?) Am honestly interessted here. (You know me- honesty is a trait).

I'm curious about this new thread of yours....can you give a quick example of what you mean by manifestation(s)?

Do you know it's 5pm here :-) or can u tell I had a late night last night?? By manifestations, I mean having a thought/image of something you'd like to happen-say like a new bag for example, then it appearing. You get extra cash to buy it or someone buys it for you as a present...just an example.

Narcissists tend to be 'perfect pants', they don't like to consider the possibility of flaws in their disposition. I think everyone is a bit because of our conditioning, but there are degrees. And on the flip side, I think those with a strong pattern have the potential to become very giving people.

In a way, pretty much anyone can be accused of narcissism at the end of the day....its a good catch all insult hehe. You want to share your manifestation story?

Thanks for clearing that up, am going to use it more often now. 😃 No I don't want to share, I like being vague today. It's like when people put cryptic messages on their Facebook status' just for attention...vaguebooking I call it.

It's like when people put cryptic messages on their Facebook status' just for attention...vaguebooking I call it. haha that's cool. Okay so here is a story. About....7 years ago my life was very much in a rut. I was basically too mentally/emotionally/energetically all over the place to hold down any kind of job, I was back at home with my parents (age 30), no girlfriend and a bunch of friends that I liked but I had grown out of. And this was at a point where I had already done a lot of spiritual work to the point where nothing in my old life was working for me...yet a new life had yet to emerge. I had money in the bank from the sale of my apartment, but there was nothing I was moved to spend it on. So I got stuck into the Abraham-Hicks material because there wasn't much else TO do. I spent time every day applying the tools consistently. I had already let go to a great extent to my attachment to 'stuff', the stuff I was interested in was my 'own' joyful family, doing work I loved to do...that kind of thing. So I probably did the work every day for about 6 months and all that really happened is that my old life became even more.....intolerable. I spent most of the day on my own either walking, or in the car. At the time though I was on a spiritual forum and there was a woman there that I had an...'unusual feeling' towards. It was like I just....really loved her, even though we didn't communicate much and actually argued a bit. And then one day she turned to me for advice. Things quickly gathered speed. It was August when she turned to me for advice, by December I was living in America with her and her two beautiful small children and there was a deep knowing that this was 'it'. Of course there were huge challenges to be faced, and it was so hard in those early days that if I had had ANYTHING to go back to in the UK, I would probably have gone. But there wasn't. It was the same for my wife...she really had nothing to go back to. And even though those early months were really hard, it was deeply fulfilling and rewarding. It FELT right....even when things seemed on the surface to be wrong. So....although I am very wary about talking about things happening as a direct response to 'manifesting' (I don't really believe that to be the case even though it can be a helpful model sometimes), I don't mind suggesting that the work I did was helpful at that time. I think the manifesting model is worthy of at least SOME of our attention, especially when the form of our lives is less than...ideal.
