Is Ken Wilber enlightened? I can't find this information in internet search. If he is enlightened, could you tell me when that happened?

I am saying like they all are part of lie

ravenscroft.....how can u say no one has ever been enlightend....have you met every one who was ever born.....then you dont know......and what really makes a person great???...because they wrote a book....cause they are on tv.......i feel that all things have a greatness to them..............
burt.....to say enlightenment is a menace is totally closed minded and i myself feel is wrong.......and not to believe in anything would destroy everything.....you must believe in something or you would not be on this site trying to help....or trying to discredit others.....if you dont believe in something greater then there is no room for growth in your world......jst an opinion......not a fact.........

Joker you raise some good points first let me say I really don't believe in anything including the fact that I exist nor the fact that is possible for me to not believe or believe something secondly, when I say no one has ever been enlightened what I am trying to point to is a suggestion that we look at the teachings themselves only - not the teacher getting caught up in being the enlightenment police could get old...they don't give anyone a diploma...so better to assume that you have to go get the answers for yourself is all start with what do you know for sure - that is it |

im not the police of wisdom or enlightenment....but i do have questions and if its to much to ask .....dont say anything.....im sorry u have such a closed mind to everything and anything cause u believe in nothing.....hurts me to hear that....but thats your path not mine....im here to learn and grow and i believe in the possibility of all things......
i like what you said about the teachings not the teachers....we tend to get caught up and not realize whats really important ..........thanx for that

ravenscroft, do you believe you live in a matrix made for your mind.. ? no, I don't have beliefs my friend, sorry if this sounds bleak or stuck to you, I can't control that maybe I wake up tomorrow and find I was kidding myself, I will be OK with that now I could see how the matrix or dream analogy could be useful, but I can also see where it may be a place to get stuck also, who knows? |

I very much like your approach.
I am surprised however at one of your statements:
I dont even believe I exist.
Is this because it doesn´t require belief? I would say this is the only thing I know.

Friends…. We have to agree here that we all operate on some knowledge we have learnt from some sources…. It could be from our parents…elders…friends….gurus…enlightened ones…etc…but all this knowledge is second hand…now the question is … is there anything called…first hand knowledge…or as these guys call ….”direct experience”…a state of “no mind”…etc.
Again these concepts are also given by these people!!!
So it comes down to “trust” or “belief”. I remember Nisargadatta saying in his book that he believed in his guru who told him he is not the body…but the limitless being.
The truth has been told in some form or the other…whether we are able to see it…and "be" it.... is to be seen
