Hi I tried to start a thread in general discussions but couldn't get it to work.

so I'll try to introduce my self first. I joined up to try and get some opinions on what i can best describe as perceiving without self.


This happened about two weeks ago.I'll start a thread about this later.

I pretty much got into this stuff because I was miserable and unhappy I was so tired of the bad feelings.I wanted to find a way to stop.

I didn't know what enlightenment or awaking was and I wasn't trying to be that I just was looking for happiness.

About three years ago i was standing in a long line waiting to visit a my sole mate doing a 7 month jail term.I happen to glance over at a woman reading a book that caught my eye it was a pleasant golden color and the title really peaked my interest [ A new earth] by tolle.

I bought the book and it resonated strongly with me I'm a tolle fan but I'm studying all the teachings.Some resonate some don't. This place does.

Any how I have much peace and a lot less unhappiness in life now. Looking forward to my time here.
