Hi
I have a question which is the "right" way of getting higher knowledge to day ?
Do we have a free will ?
I would also like to hear people that have higher experience to decribe what they have experince.
i do apologise my english since i am not from a english speaking contry !
looking forward to hear different opionens and experinces of the "truth"

Think about it. You may feel like you can control how you go for what you desire, but you cannot control WHAT you desire. You just like certain things and don't like other things. And the only way that could ever change is because of another desire. And how to fulfill those desires only comes by what occurs to us. The very process by which we make decisions is completely automatic...... where is the control, the free will.....? It's merely a feeling. But a feeling of freedom because we ARE it all..... Who is it that would have free will? Look again...is that person really there? How do you know? Hi I have a question which is the "right" way of getting higher knowledge to day ? Thank you for your reply. If I may I would like to make a short comment.
I might not be able to control my desire right now ! - - - but can I get aware of my desire ?
if yes to that question !!!
Do I then have the posiblity to chose to follow that desire or not to follow that desire ?
Who is make the decision between to follow or not to follow my desire ?
That I do make a choise is very clear. Can I by observing the world and my self come to and awarnes of how I make choises ?
It might be so that I dont have a free will for the moment !!! The question is it posible to obtain a free will ?

How have your experinced that we as human being dont have a free will. I am looking forward to read your reply.
Regarding if there is anything to know or not know. That could be a point of wiev. and a point of wiev is changing depending on where you stand. Look on your hand --- what happens when you observe with your eyes your hand as far away as posible, and what happens when the hand is a close as posible to your eyes.
You will most likely experince 2 different fellings inside. So what does feelings tell us by doing this litle experiment.
That feeling tells us the story about how we as human being is relating to the world and nothing more. Feeling do not tell us anything about the object that we observe.
Is it posible to be - the point of wiev !!!! Where everything has a place and nothing is made in to a definition.

Before you ask yourself about free will, maybe you can ask yourself this:
Can you find something that you created completely by yourself, without any help/interference from "outside?"
What do you think? Can you find such a thing?

I didn't use the word "will" in my question to you, so I don't see why you must understand what will is (for that matter).
When I'm in doubt what a word means, I always go by the dictionary definition. All words are pointers to what we experience, and not the actual experience.
In this case, will is "the faculty by which a person decides on and initiates action."
All definitions are ultimately circular, so they can't get us very far when it comes to "the questions of life."

By which tool do I judge Why do you need to create/imagine new definitions? Dictionary definitions are excellent! Those linguists worked hard to write them down. Are you sure you know what "outside" means? Relax! |

Philemon: Are "you" involved in the circulation of "your" blood, the transmission of nerve impulses in "your" body, or the thoughts that appear in "your" mind? Well, everything else is happening in exactly the same way. Your "you" is a fiction; there is no Philemon. Who you are is infinite, and THAT is unimaginable. You can experience THAT because you are THAT, but you cannot know THAT with the mind.
Please don't take anyone's word for this. Become silent, look within, and verify this for yourself/Itself. See if you can find a "you." Cheers.

I apolegise for my bad english and sometimes I might seem rough in the writing this only because my english skills is not very good.
Regarding your question if I can find anything that I creat complete by my self without help from outside.
I real cant see the connection between influence from outside and make a decision on how I will react on the influence.
I always have the option to say yes or no !!!
If I dont have the option to say yes or no what am I then as a human being.
I might experience that I have no option but I believe that human being have a option.

Don't worry!
If you don't see the connection between influences from outside and making a decision, then you probably consider that there is something about your decision that is independent of all outside influences.
Try to find that "thing"...
