 I am writing to recommend the David Hawkins book "Discovery of the Presence of God" (pub. 2006, Veritas, ISBN 0-9715007-6-2) as a very helpful manual for one who is seeking to realize Nonduality; I also recommend the poetry of Han Shan, also known as Cold Mountain, eg. 'Holding to No-Mind', 'Honor Buddha Nature', 'Gazing at the Void' and 'Look Deep Within' from the book 'The Path of Direct Awakening' edited by Stephen H. Ruppenthal, Berkeley Hills Books, 2004 ISBN 1-893163-57-1; other translations of Han Shan's poetry can be found online. I carry these books about with me as reminders of what is real; and find the Loving Kindness Practice and the use of Buddhist mantras very valuable.
